My nephew who plays HS football here in SC told me about Clemson's RB when he was in high school. He ran for 5 touchdowns against them and sat out the entire 2nd half.

If Louisville runs the table, it is possible. They play Houston in November, but the rest of their schedule now is pretty easy.

I do think Clemson losing twice between now and the ACC championship is a long shot. Their schedule is a joke the rest of the way out other than @ FSU.

The receiver on that play got beat up badly on the national forum...... Best guess was that he thought he was over the first down marker and went out of bounds..... If he had turned towards the inside it would have been him vs the one defender, and a good chance of muscling for the first down, or getting into the end zone

His decision to head toward the sideline was to stop the clock, I think.

I bet a lot of teammates on the Ville team, who worked so hard up to that play, were not too happy with his decision there.... It looks like he made a judgement mistake.

The problem is that Louisville and Clemson are in the same division. There is no way that Louisville should be in the playoff over a 1loss conference winner. Hopefully, it will be a moot point if Ohio State and Alabama run the table.
