Love the defense and hustle by the team when they got down big. That's a huge strength for them. I was impressed that they kept chipping away at the lead late even though it was clear we were not going to win. It would be nice if they can keep that attitude all year.
That being said, they will have to figure out their half court offense. It's going to be tough to score in conference play. We all knew that already, but this game highlighted it. I haven't watched film on Geo Baker yet, but hopefully he can be a nice addition to the offense next year.
Good first seven games so far. Lets close out conference play strong and then defend the Rac in conference play. If this team can play a full 40 minutes regardless of the score, fans will definitely jump on board which should help Pike recruit for 2018.
