LSU Going After QBs-Haskins and Russo on List

Looks like I can't get beyond the opening title. Something about VIP.
Can you address the Russo reference?

Sorry about that. I hit it from a twitter link: (sounds pretty thin on Russo)

LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is looking to close with a quarterback in the 2016 class, and a number of names have surfaced as the Tigers field interest from both high school prospects, junior college quarterbacks and transfer quarterbacks across the country.

Dwayne Haskins: Haskins is arguably the top name on LSU's radar right now. He's ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the country, and despite his commitment to Maryland, the four-star prospect has been looking around and will make college visits in January. He's already made official visits to both Florida and Ohio State, though the addition of Purdue transfer Austin Appleby to a quarterback class that already includes Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask could cloud the Gators' chances of reeling in Haskins. Keep a close eye on Haskins across the next few weeks as the Tigers make their push. LSU is expected to be the first team that will go in-home with Haskins once the dead period ends this month.

Anthony Russo: At 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, Russo is ranked as the No. 21 pro-style quarterback in the country. He's been committed to Rutgers since May, but he reality that he doesn't put the pen to the scholarship papers until National Signing Day has opened the door for LSU and Cameron to make their move. Russo has not used any of his official visits, but watch for both Rutgers and LSU to push to get him onto campus this month before he settles into a final decision.

LSU is known for pulling scholarships after a kid arrives for a year and doesn't appear to be shining.

Would be a terrible move by Russo.

I obviously don't know for sure, and he hasn't reaffirmed his commitment yet, but I think Haskins stays a Terp. He's been in the ear of other local guys and was in the ear of guys at the All-American game. You never know, just but just my two cents.

I can't see Russo going to LSU, I will be more concern about PSU going after him now that they lost their QB to the draft.

So from that, I'm getting Russo is a possibility for LSU because he is highly rated and committed to Rutgers. Nice to see us getting the respect we deserve.

"Hey quarterbacks, come to LSU where we will misuse you, not help you develop your skills, and where you will ultimately be replaced after you win the starting job."

Let's just say that LSU isn't the place to go if you're a QB.

Wiltfong crystal balled Haskins to tOSU last night.

BUT BUT..... osu run a spread offense???
Haskins is the #7 Pro-Style Quarterback in the country??? Why go osu spread???
Sorry this is mostly poppycock, writer need to write

Man, I'd be very disappointed in Haskins if he decommitted from Maryland. I'm sure he was a big reason many of the other kids pledged Terps...

to be fair, Rutgers hasn't been much better. Only difference here is.."if you win the job in camp you will never have to worry about performance"
