I know nothing about the kid but he sounds like the type of undersized "tight end build" tweener that a Marquette Cinci , or W.Va team always seemed to have. Someone who was very physical , aggressive and quick that could rebound and score . If so , we need him. Badly.....

If Bullock is really 6'4" I think he might be worth the risk. Big strong guy with some offensive skills. If he could play the 2 I think he could be a big asset in the B1G.

there's been some talk on here about him. It's rare that a kid actually wants Rutgers to chase after them. Seems he hasn't heard from the program in a while although an offer was made. Having seen him play several times I definitely think his toughness and strength is something RU can use. And it doesn't hurt that he comes from a winning program

To me this is a no brainer. Bring him in EJ. If this kid can score 22 and get 12 rebounds playing against an All-American going to Michigan State, I don't care if he's 6'. The kid can play. He appears to WANT TO BE HERE and compared to some of the kids you brought in, it appears Mr. Bullock is a diamond in the rough. I'll take several of these kind of kids to fill roles on a team over never getting some 4 star or 5 star kid that will court us until a better offer comes their way. Think Kent. This kid needs to be here at Rutgers on scholarship.

Forget the tweener nonsense. If the kid can ball and have the mental toughness, he can play anywhere. Look at NBA players who didn't get recruited to big time schools: Barkley, Curry, Oakley, Rodman, Dumars, Vinnie Johnson, Ben Wallace, Starks just to name a few. So RU needs to open this pipeline immediately and stop dragging their feet. The young man can flat out play!

Barkley went to Auburn, a football school but still an SEC school. It is a big time school.

But not in Basketball. Duke is a big time basketball program but their football team is not. Point being that Barkley did not get recruited to the big time schools like Tennesee, Duke, UNC etc.

Watched Bullock last night in the Union County Tourney final vs. The Patrick School (coached by Mike Rice). Great game, Patrick School won in 2 OTs.

Matt Bullock is a PLAYER!!!!! Big time, clutch, heart of a lion, player. Took over at the end of regulation and first OT tie the game. Monster slams. If he wants to come to RU we should take him in a heartbeat. We give out scholarships to guys like Justin Goode!!!!!! Bullock brings it. He can move, is quick, has hops, decent shot, and has a wide body. This is a no brainer....

For hoops junkies, here was my day on Saturday

6:30 AM - play 2 hours of hoops
11 AM - watch my son in Essex County tourney freshman championship (SHP vs Columbia)
1 PM - watch SHP vs Newark East Side in ECT championship
3:30 PM - watch Saint Peter's Prep JV vs St. Mary's Eliz (player I coached last year starts on SPP JV)
6 PM - watched Patrick School vs Roselle Catholic in UCC championship

BTW, Mike Rice did a nice job coaching. Intense and demanding, but he seems to have toned it down to more positives with the HS kids

It's hard to understand our recruiting strategy. I know Eddie has connections to parents of ex NBA guys,
Who have expressed interest in RU, and would have come. No love back, hard to understand. I know of one kid doing very well, scorer talent. Who could help RU, high character kid. No love from Jordan. Something is wrong. Also good enough student. When I see our roster it makes no sense. There are players out there who want to come here who are better than 75% of our roster. He has to go!
