Our biggest worry has got to be our anemic offense. Statistics show that we have an advantage at FO, but I am more of a believer in matchups than stats. The bigger question is whether we can take advantage of the ones we win and not turn the ball over. You have to hope our defense can hold the line against their attack, but they will need help. Otherwise, it's going to be a long cold night.

Penn state takes down Cornell in OT. PSU with 5 unanswered goals in the in the last 2:30 + OT off of an unreleasable 2 min penalty with just over 2:00 remaining in regulation and then a :30 sec penalty with :08 remaining to give PSU the possession in OT.

Gotta give OSU credit. That program was left for dead and now they are 5-1 this season up 2 on ND heading into the 4th.

Seems like every program in the B1G has done though some dire times save Maryland.

One thing. We haven’t really done is go on runs this season. Lacrosse is a game of runs. Our good teams of the past would go on serious runs. And stop them. I think it’s a sign of youth.

That’s the entire difference. They don’t miss their chances and we do. Could easily be winning this game with even an acceptable shooting percentage

We are missing that slickness we’ve had in the past. Jules, Knobloch, AC, etc. those guys hands free from 8 yards it’s money. We just don’t have that.

We are getting good looks. Not all, but more than enough to be ahead.

Placement. Deception. Scoring the ball at this level is a lot about deception. It’s a skill summarized by the word slick. AC was the slickest player we’ve ever had. Hands free from anywhere on the clock he could place the ball wherever he wanted. We have very little d ception. And we shoot a lot of sidearm shots which are generally less accurate.
