Men’s Lacrosse Returned Home to Host Loyola on Saturday

Couldn’t watch due to conflict. But I am glad to hear better ball movement, off ball movememt, screen action and shot selection. I hope this continues and not a one off. Good work! Never easy to beat Loyola. They always seem to scrap.

Loyola is always tough out. Despite their current record, I think this will turn out to be a pretty good win. They have played the toughest schedule in the nation so far and are a couple of goals away from wins over 2 of the current top 3. They should make some noise in the Patriot league.

SBU loss on the other hand is going to come back to bite us if we end up on the bubble. They are not a good team.

There was no excuse for the Stony Brook game but I think you are underselling them for their level. They lost to UNC 9-4 and in OT to a Sacred Heart team who themselves have some interesting scores.

Again, no excuse for a loss like that but it wouldn't shock me if SB competes in their conference.

I am going by mostly what I saw in our game. Just didn’t see a lot of talent other than their goalie and a couple of offensive players. I didn’t see the UNC game but it looks like the goalie was at 65% with 17 saves, which may have kept it from getting out of hand.

I’m by no means any sort of expert on the CAA but I think they end up middle of the pack in that league. I’ve seen a little bit of Fairfield and Delaware and they both look better to my eyes. I could be totally wrong but that’s how I see it right now.
