It's really fascinating to watch. Someone posts Mitchell is down to his final two, but the teams are not identified. The usual suspects, "insiders" who are not really insiders, post that we are not in the top two. Then they and other posters run over to NJ.com to throw this information into the comments, reported as fact, to attract the Syracuse and Penn State trolls. Rinse and repeat with every prospect.

Anyone that tries to predict what these players are going to do is kidding themselves. The kids themselves will sometimes tell a close friend or relative what they plan and then the very next day, they are saying something else. I think some of the guys who are close to the players learned a lesson and instead of trying to tell us where and when a kid may commit, they just try to share what information they have at that moment and what they are allowed to share.
As I have mentioned a few times. The evening before Kevin called Coach Schiano to commit, his mother, his HS Coach and I took him to dinner so he could tell us first. If you had polled the 3 of us, we would have only been batting .333

I have a feeling that MITCHELL is going to be the guy that steps up as the leader of his class and commits to Rutgers and starts the tidal wave of other recruits who pull the trigger and join the wave with Mitchell.

People seem to forget, but just 2 YEARS ago for the class of 2014 with Saeed Blacknall leading the pack... Rutgers had a STUD class who verbally committed. Flood has the ability to gather top recruiting classes in the country all he needs is that 1 or 2 kids to be leaders. Because I would say some recruits have that feeling in their hearts that Rutgers is the place for them, but they are waiting for that top notch recruit to commit which would then confirm to them that Rutgers is the place for them as well.

If they really did have "legit" inside info you would think they would at least explain or hint WHY they have access to inside info that other people do not. They wouldn't just post "Sorry guys Mitchell is going to Ohio State!" or other random stuff like that.

We don't appear to be in his top 2. How we dropped from leader to out of contention I don't know. Maybe things will change but we seem to be out.

Some posters on here make you dislike some of the recruits because the posters "claim" to have inside info that is misleading.

There is info from Brian Dohn on the Michigan scout board also. There is also information from a reliable Michigan insider who doesn't exactly make stuff up. Doesn't mean they are always entirely accurate when looking back on things (sometimes there is more to the story they don't know) but they go on what they are told from people inlvonved and aren't in the business of just speculating (well they make it clear when it is a guess vs.saying they were told something). I speculte though and my guess is tOSU....but to be clear I only know what I've read on boards and that's it.

I see nothing in the OTB article that should rule out Michigan. If the kid wants to decide now it could be Jim Harbaugh vs. Kyle Flood, each bidding to kick start their 2016 class, unless Urban finds out it is Harbaugh in the lead and that forces his hand. What I do know is that what I read is going on what certain people believe is credible info...and that they have first hand access to these people....I also know they would be the first to admit that things change quickly in recruiting and sometimes "sources" don't have the complete story...so bottom line is we'll find out

I still dont get how your info is any more solid than the info posted in the OTB article. Donahue just spoke to the kid as the article indicated. How is that just "talk, talk speculation"?
