Mon Jan 2: HUGE BOWL DAY: 1p Wisc v West Mich, 1p Iowa v Fla, 5p USC v PSU, 8 Okla v Auburn

7-0 USC strikes first. Freshman QB for USC, Darnold, looks pretty good.

FG for USC makes it 10-0. USC now covering the spread. Heck of a loud crowd there.

13-0 USC up, end of 1st quarter. PSU looking outclassed so far.

Don't have skill position kids to hang with SC

PS is a good team, they play sound and have a smart tough QB, but sometimes that's not enough

They better work on TOP soon or they're gonna get run out of the stadium

Heck of a throw by McSorley and catch by the PSU WR,
Let's see if it holds up

USC scores again, their offense looks unstoppable 27-14, high scoring first half.

Heck of a catch by 12 of PSU. On the march again, both defenses taking a beating.

I know you guys are terribly annoyed by him, but Fleck's the real deal. He's done a lot with very little. I've been to Kalamazoo & Waldo Stadium (though it hasn't been since the Cubit years), and though they're not shabby, they are absolutely nothing compared to what we have. And here they are smashing Wisconsin in the teeth playing hardnosed football and competing. I still think they'll lose this game, but they're not too shabby.
I actually think more here like him than not but I'm one of those that isn't a fan of his antics or think his coaching acumen will carry over when he takes the step up.

But I think the game wasn't too surprising. I mentioned WMU having a decent shot to hang around the day the matchups came out and mentioned it earlier in this thread. It's kind of the way Wisconsin played a fair amount of the time this year. They're capable of blowing teams out but also play teams close more often than you might expect. Close games against OSU/Michigan but on the other end of the spectrum Georgia State and to a lesser extent Iowa/Minnesota. The level of competition doesn't necessarily make a difference.

Fabulous Saquan Barkley 80 yard TD run.. 28-27 PSU leads. This is a great game.

The new 'most interesting man in the world' is a very weak replacement for the original. The new one actually looks like Michael Phelps w a beard.

Penn St loaded up on rabbits feet and horseshoes before making the trip west, lol
