many of us need to get away, chill out and have a mental reboot. It’s out of our control. Stop worrying about itI can't believe this hasn't been discussed before. But you're right. Wow. This changes everything.
Serious question. Are you really an educator at an institution of higher learning?Glad u like another one of my post fatguy
Seriously …your hijacking the forum with the number of posts .Glad u like another one of my post fatguy
Chol lol. Earlier this year I was debating his value to the team on this site and how he wouldn't ever play. Guy was so bad he didn't get any minutes with two or more guys out. Anybody with 1 eye could see this was yet another Pike miss. Crickets now.
Should have kept Dean Reiber instead.
Few..very few on this site would ever come to say my bad.
He's the anti-schiano when it comes to finding and developing talent.

Because one. We owe him a crazy amount of money and I am tired of everyone asking for more cash from me only to waste it.Based on how you portray him why not just say you want him fired?

Two as I had told you several times we'll see what he does with next year's talent. That just maybe enough to get the program back to a positive spot. Does he maximize that? We'll see.
His stats are his stats. Its not some portrayal.
Would I make a change IF it were my team and I had the cash? Not with the guys coming in but I would damn well have a talk with him about some changes and expectations.
One last thing. I see there are a SIGNIFICANT number of other posters who are all questioning and commenting and taking a very similar position yet it seems I am the only one you want to engage. I'm (kinda) flattered. At least I'm willing to put the facts behind my critique.
Shooting in a gym not a game is a whole different thing. This Chol is the best shooter was a mirage started by Carino? Here’s another: most athletic team ever for Pike.Chol was mentioned as the best outside shooter prior to the season starting.
Was my Jumping on your exchange before or after you chimed in on one of mine? Beside. I thought in a free public forum it is all fair game. If not you should use the PM feature.Yeah....No regarding your attempt to portray me a certain way. My posting history is up to date and open if you want to take a peek at what I post and who I respond to. I made this post yesterday and perhaps a response or 2 along the way and we had some post exchanges almost a week ago - including you jumping in on my exchange with another poster ..... but can't find the reference to you telling me several times about next year's talent / Pike....maybe I missed it or maybe confusing me with another poster?
Regarding Pike - it really comes down to expectations vs. performance. I had hopes but not high expectations coming into this season. Both Cam and Paul leaving creates significant holes in both performance and leadership. Also Mag injury - I felt the timeline for full recovery from ACL is often the following season.
Honestly I really don't get all the drama and histrionics expressed here this season. We were supposed to have a down year. I was much more disappointed last season vs my expectations. But as I've recently said in another post - at the end of the day for me this is entertainment. I graduated from RU, donate to RU, work in NBR, have friends who own businesses in NBR, my son attends RU and I pay tuition to RU, I go to RU Games......I love Rutgers. But still I don't feel the need to be overly angry, upset, hair on fire about if the team does not meet expectations. In fact I'm now much more focused and intrigued/entertained by the offseason potential moves than I am about lamenting this past season.
Maybe you're asking the wrong question.Serious question. Are you really an educator at an institution of higher learning?
If so, I pity your students. Are you this childish with them?

I seriously have zero issue with the record. ZERO. I had no expectations of making the tourney nor do I really even judge the program or the coach on that. My entertainment comes mostly from hoping to see quality play. Both team and individual. Development. (of course it is nice to win and hopefully we all have pride in that). I cannot remotely turn a blind eye to what I saw this year and end of last. I'll try to move on. But you know what? Not caring has its cost too. My close family has a combined 60 years of working at Rutgers NB. My whole life was about Rutgers as a kid. First kid in family to go to college and got in Early Admission. Never applied anywhere else. But after 50+ years I've lost the Scarlet glasses. And my caring for anything non-sports related is shot. If sports go next then so be it. And nothing changes if everyone just wants to move on. To each their own. If you want I'll just ignore you and you can ignore me. That's fine (cept at least you're not a dick about things).
I agree with one on this. The off season potential does provide something of interest.
I forgot to add my Bro in law who retires in August. Him, my sister, and my mom plus my small contribution putt us over 100;years employed. . Lol.I don't have anyone on ignore - like to see and read everyone.
I still have the Scarlet glasses on. Several of the people who work for me have come from Rutgers and many more work in the company. They younger bunch have energy towards the school and sports - so perhaps it keeps my energy towards the school up as well. I find that too many post political nonsense about the school that quite frankly is not discussed out in the open / real world by people who I talk to about RU. Maybe its just me or maybe my ties run deeper because my son is now a legacy and I get to see and experience things on more of a first hand basis.
I'm very upbeat about RU Sports especially compared to where we have been in the 30 years before Pike. You've been there there as well. In basketball even if Pike ultimately does not get us over the hump, we have proven enough as a program to be able to bring in a high level coach. We've moved well past the days of overall NCAA bottom dwellers.
