With Nova’s DiVincenzo and Maryland’s Herder both going unexpectedly early to the NBA, what are the chances either Wright or Turgeon swoop in with the hard sell to Mulcahey? As an RU fan, I’m pre-conditioned to expect someone from the outside to come at the last minute in to snatch one of our top recruits. Any reason to worry?

Was told Scottie Lewis is a Nova priority at the moment and they are in Final 3.

If you follow Nova or MD recruiting in any aspect, they're recruiting different players or already spent time with kids already committed to them. What's actually happening is Mulcahy's commitment to RU is impacting kids in 2020 and 2021 to consider RU and being the other pieces in this rebuild.

Can't speak for Wright, but it is not Turgeon's style to go after a kid that has verbally committed elsewhere.

When did Lewis release a final 3?

To me, basketball is different when it comes to recruiting. In basketball, once a kid commits to a school, other school moves on to other recruits. In football school swoop in for the kill. I find basketball recruiting to be more gentleman like whereas football has little respect for one another

If you follow Mulcahy on Twitter, he's very very into Rutgers and constantly interacting with Harper and the other guys. He's not just committed, he seems to want to lead the whole program. I have no concern about him flipping before signing.

I don’t see that Mulcahey has a Nova offer and, while Mulcahey has a good offer list, a Nova offer would be a significant step up.
