Like a lot of you I have been a long-suffering RU basketball season ticketholder. I'm a frugal sort of person (some would say cheap) so I hate to waste anything. However last year it got so bad that there were times that I was looking for excuses not to go to games. This year began with a curiosity about the new regime, how the players would react, etc. Like most I was skeptical about the early season results, but in general I liked the way the team played especially on defense and rebounding. The litmus test for me was going to be the conference season. While we didn't win a whole lot of games what came through to me that the "knight and day" them was really appropriate. I ended up only missing one game and that was because of it being a 9:00 start. For the first time in a long time I am optimistic about our future.
