Could luck out and football game is noon but why on earth couldnt the hoops game be scheduled on Sunday Nov 19. Rutgers doesnt play til November 27

I wonder how this works. I’m assuming that there’s not really consideration for other sports when making schedules.

Howard can't play on Nov. 20. So RU would have had to schedule someone else for a Sunday game.

You figure out who will play you, when the game can happen & where. It's about finding desired opponents who have available dates that match your available dates.

When other sports are playing is not a consideration unless the other sport uses the same facility for games (WBB, VB, Wrestling).

Non-conference basketball games are usually agreed to between Feb - Apr.

Why not make this a night game for RU-Howard as well? That would have assuredly gotten it away from the football time. Oh well.
