NJ.COM 15 articles on JG yesterday???

that's craziness. People eat this crap up. Pretty clear that some people were looking for a lot of attention with this and had no problem embarrassing Flood and RU. Shameful behavior and hard to defend IMO.

Unfortunately, this is how media works now that content is web driven, and revenues are tied to clicks. Content for the print news media is meaningless. They simply look to generate web traffic by printing multiple articles on any story that is trending or drawing national interest.

I remember when the cop was shot in JC last year they had about 20 articles, all containing the same information presented in different ways. With the JG commitment, they know they have several large college fan bases that will be looking at every article to see if there is any additional information, so this result is obvious.

Hey, Star Ledger. When a New Jersey kid picks his home State, make that the lead story. When a NJ product "takes his talents" elsewhere, put that story on page 5 or 6 in small font. JG may be the 2nd coming of someone, but he is not coming to RU so let the Tennessee newspapers fill their front pages.

I think there would have been even more, actually.
Yes there would be more if he committed to RU, one positive about JG committing and four claiming he made a mistake.
