NUTS: Rutgers is a VERY good baseball team with strong hitting , pitching depth and a very solid defense. Great coaching under Owens and staff’s purview. It was my choice to temper expectations for the next several weeks and continue to support the team as you and others do . I never disagreed with your assessment . The difference between good vs very good is a very fine distinction. Perhaps , by the end of the 2022 season we can say, “ this Rutgers BB team is a GREAT team.

This weekend is a step up in competition for the team. Let’s see how they do. Last step up was Iowa also at home and that did not go so well. Hopefully they find a way to take the series.

I have never attended a baseball game. Do you need to do anything in advance or just show up day of the game, park the car and either sit on the outfield grass or on the bleachers?

Agree this is a good to very good team. Great is a superlative for which they are not yet ready.
