Although I completely understand and, given how things like this generally blow up, I wouldn't mind seeing media in to get a glimpse of the team and dispense that information to the general public. All questions (for the coaching staff) should be held until after the practice is complete, and the team is off the field. Then HCKF can provide this as an answer "No Comment" to the 300 questions he'll get about "the situation."

I like a little kick in the shins as much as anybody but this is a less dramatic, and more likely, reason.

Would like to see writers at NJ.com a) put out just as a dramatic "story" with a "juicy" headline saying Flood did nothing wrong and they over sensalationized a non-story ; b) publicly apologize via Twitter ; and c) reveal the mole who leaked this story with the intent to harm RU athletics so that RU administration can deal with that person properly and make an example of them to all others who think that is the easy to react to not getting a job

Not really. These practices are usually open to the press.
