With everything that's going on this is terrible for are recruiting. Only some days until we see some recruits decommit.

I usually never post on here, usual only just read what's going on but I had to get some other people's intake on this.
I actually think this stuff matters less than we might think.
If flood isn't fired I think the class stays more or less intact and we still get Udeogu and maybe Harmon too.

Then think about rephrasing your title: Will This Effect Recruiting? We have parents / verbals and others who read these boards and your statement doesn't help Rutgers.

You'd be wrong. Think back to Oct 2013. It wasn't just the on-field disasters that had commits running. There were several off-field incidents, as well, that contributed.
I realize that, but that was unprecedented. Even if we lose a few commits I don't think it will be the cascade we saw in 2013. Unfortunately I could see us losing Rene, but Russo will probably stick because most teams have their QB. Most of the rest are solid players but not guys with huge offer lists that can just go running elsewhere. I guess we shall see.
Yeah, it was unprecedented alright, but I'm still crossing my fingers it doesn't happen again and, IIRC, there are a few commits who stated they would be taking "all their official visits" this fall well prior to all of this nonsense. :angry:
Still 5 months away from LOI day - lots of things can change. We are still early in the season, and I think the way we play the remainder of the season will affect things a lot more than these past indiscretions. You can bet all players and coaches will be read the riot act today (if they haven't been already) and I think the rest of the season will be relatively quiet. However, I think this team may struggle to win 4 games at this point, and that is what will really affect recruiting.

Saying the buyout is covered by the booster is probably wrong. The booster agreed to pay Flood for the extension. He also said he still supports Flood. So I can't see this guy willing to cut a check if Rutgers goes and fires Flood before the contract is complete. I sure as hell wouldn't. He is sticking to his word. He'll pay Flood for working here, if Rutgers fires him, let them pay.
So right now Rutgers has a coach who will mostly be paid by donations. If they fire him, they will have to come out of pocket to pay off Flood and staff and then go hire a new coach and staff and also pay out of pocket. The math could add up to a very daunting figure for Rutgers to swallow.

You must have your head up your a** if you don't think there will be a negative impact on recruiting. No reason to jump on the guy for bringing up a valid point. Are you just angry because you think all of our recruits are going to come onto this board, see the OP's thread title and decide to decommit?
Sad to say this is the reason I don't post on these forums. The disrespect from people is ridiculous. I've been through it all like you from the LOU'ville win in 06 to the big east lose. To penn state last year when I was sitting in section 115 row 4 in disbelief or to the day I rushed the field against Michigan. But because I only have four post I'm a troll and get treated like shit gotta love it.

Premium board listed a top three which we were not in..... I hope this is ok to say here, I am not mentioning the teams listed.
... I want to say this so that fans here don't get even more upset when he does not commit... I would not consider him not committing as fallout
