The RU fans in penn state were great tonight. All 5,000 of us spent good money to watch that embarrassing display. At no point did the coaching staff put Rutgers in a position to win. They game was designed to not get blown out and we still got blown out. It's time for a change.

Everyone needs to make sure the only thing flooded on campus is Julie's inbox. Enough is enough. Flood should not resume duties after MSU and a thorough search must commence quickly.

The President really doesn't care, Really he doesn't care. Julie will only do what the President tells her. People spend money and come to games, Flood is cheap! We will under no circumstances pay a buy out. Why? the President doesn't care, He will however accept the responsibility if success happens by mistake. Other than that he doesn't care. Julie wants to cash a check each month until something better comes along. Flood is Jimmy Carter. He is lucky he's at Rutgers, He wouldn't be employed in any-other college in America as a head coach. he is a d2 Offensive line coach who is nice and speaks well. Nothing more! But it works at Rutgers and you can get paid 1.2 mil. Now roll in the Presidents Salary with the AD. all three incompetent individuals will ride that gravy train as long as possible. Until the're fired or something better comes along. The Rutgers way is to make excuses not fix the obvious problem. Hey wait till next year yeah! that's when well get them. Flood is learning from his mistakes, The team is young, half the team is in Jail, Julie has a plan, Delany has a plan, flood figured something out with all the doodles he draws each weekend. Forget the past. next week well be 1-0 just pick your excuse,

Honest question here. If you fire Flood now what do you do? Let's assume for argument that Schiano is not available. You are not getting anyone here and what you will get is Wilson.

You will also loose your prized QB recruit unless you have a viable alternative lined up right away. It is not going to happen in the middle of the year.

There are two schools of thought on this, and I'm in favor of the first.

1. Fire Flood knowing Schiano is coming back, and he will save the class.

2. Blow up the whole thing because he isn't. get the Toledo or Northern Illinois coach and start from there.

I want #2. This program needs a fresh start in the worst way.

You're looking at a half empty stadium next week.

The last person I want involved in deciding Rutgers football future is Ms. Hermann. I have no interest in seeing either Flood or Hermann at Rutgers. To me they are a package deal. Flood's stink is squarely on her desk.

It looked to me that all 5,000 fans were in the upper deck around the 20 yard line (just guessing).

Do WE (that is RUTGERS) do the same to ALL teams that visit our stadium? It seems to me that Cuse / other visitors had the run of our stadium...and I'd like someone to explain how that can happen...and more importantly how do we STOP IT NOW!

I'm with #2 but after the season is finished if things don't turn completely around.

Firing mid season is moronic. We are not getting anyone of any substance mid season. We cannot get Schiano even if we wanted him due to his Bucs buyout, and I for one don't want him or Schiano lite (flood).

You think things are going to turn around when our schedule gets 10x harder? We still have OSU, MSU, Wisc, Mich, etc

Of course not, but if some miracle it happened you wouldn't be able to get rid of Flood.

I'm ashamed and i agree....time to move on and bring back the buzz....we were lacking fire AND SPIRIT...

firing mid season is not good. but, KF is neutered. doesn't add any value anyway. getting him completely out of the picture would actually help whoever the interim HC is. prolly would make the games more interesting.
just look at today's game. KF wasn't there but it was clear some guidelines were given to follow blindly, which is worse.
as far as losing the recruits. don't care. Flood's been losing those type of kids last minute anyway.

I'm a pretty confident and glass half full type guy who actually likes KF as a man....but i love RU...we need to get someone with local ties...whose coaching in Philly and beat Franklin over the head with him. Lose some recruits and maybe gain some...move on.

Um, yeah, I guess, except that Pernetti hired Flood and Hermann tried to replace him but didn't have the budget to do so. Apart from that, they're a package.

We already have an interim coach, just extend it for the rest of the season and start fresh after the season is over.

Yeah, if not for one donor maybe Flood wouldn't even be here right now.

Either scenario would be better than keeping Flood...this is a trainwreck.

People are delusional. Julie isn't doing anything about this any time soon. She may never get the chance, though it doesn't matter. It's bigger than the position.

Ultimately the BOG will make the call, which it will have no choice but to do. But she will hire the replacement.
