Transitive theory never works, but here goes. Oddly, most points MSU put up against a P5 team is Iowa (32 points). After that:I'm not really sure what the health of our defense is at this point. As you saw in most of our losses, when they aren't healthy, they can't stop anyone. I'm hoping for a win because we need to show some progress from last season. Another 6-6 season is a step backwards.
MSU's leading rusher is Kay'Ron Lynch- Adams, formerly of Rutgers and UMass. He's their leading rusher, but with only 580 yards. It’s going to be a very cold, windy day in East Lansing on Saturday. Bad day for passing and kicking. Favors the team who runs the ball better and takes care of the ball. Unfortunately, I think MSU trying to get to bowl eligibility and RU having to try get over the terrible loss is going to be a deciding factor. Hope I’m wrong:
MSU: 24. RU: 20
Have raised that same point about Hetherman. In the Big 10, while Rutgers defense is in the bottom quartile in points/game, their offense is in the top half in points per game.According to the defensive stats, RU is 17th out of 18 B1G teams. That is truly sad for a program that hangs its hat on defense. I’ve been trying to figure this out and don’t get it. I understand injuries have played a part. But there are just so many basic breakdowns from failing to set the edge at the LOS, to LBs and Safety’s being way out of position. I wonder how much losing last year’s LB coach Heatherton to Minn as DC has played a role? I don’t get it.
you forgot to include Rutgers in the title
also its not your fault Greg made a collossal blunder
Fixed, but if this fails, the ball is in your court. Gearing up for the big game in 32 minutes.you forgot to include Rutgers in the title
You saw last week that we had to play levy back there. I did not think we would even see him this season. As I was saying before the Illinois game, I was concerned about winning these last two games, and it wasn't due to the competition. Any half decent offense that isn't completely banged up will beat the Defense we're currently fielding. That's not a knock on any of our players. It's more of a knock on recruiting and the transfer portal.
Our 1st stringers are great, and many of their backups too. But what happens when you start having the number of injuries we're having? You're seeing it on the field. We're nothing more than a 6 win team.
I think that Schiano has to do a much better job of "development" or bringing in experienced players that can play right away. I can't believe I'm typing this but the Offense (particularly, as of late) isn't the problem. But, the Defense will need to work wonders to keep MSU at bay.

You hit the “cold windy” part right but fail miserably otherwise my man:It’s going to be a very cold, windy day in East Lansing on Saturday. Bad day for passing and kicking. so we should "Shift" the blame to you 😡🤬also its not your fault Greg made a collossal blunder
I think our DBs will do a great job on the outside playing and allow us to bring pressure. MSU’s OL and QB will be off balance all dayI think we can rattle MSU qb Aiden Chiles and limit their offense.
RU: 28 MSU: 14 and we get two interceptions.
Beat me by 2 points!!!I think our DBs will do a great job on the outside playing and allow us to bring pressure. MSU’s OL and QB will be off balance all day
