Agreed, Dylan was creating and should have had the ball in his hands. With how awful Ace was with decision making all day, he was the last guy you wanted to have the ball in his hands. Let him be a spot up shooter from three. Horrible execution, hopefully they learn from it and realize Dylan needs to have the ball at key moments of games. That was an embarrassingly bad loss, might have made me forget the football loss

I fear it won’t really matter. That was really bad. This team was picked to finish 9th in Conference USA. A decent coach will outcoach us every time.
This team needs to attack the rebounding. Everyone needs to bc it is a massive massive problem. It's hard to win games getting destroyed on the boards
Not only that. First nationally televised game ever. This was their World Series/Super Bowl/National Championship. And playing with a huge chip on their shoulders to shut up all the Bailey talk. RU is only the 2nd major conference team to ever play in that gym. Pike needs his head examined for scheduling this “homecoming”. Absolutely zero to gain by playing this other than to give them free press. Brutal loss

Yeah that was a bad foul call but at the same time that dude had position on JW for 3 or 4 seconds prior to shot and did nothing to take that away. Very bad game not a great tuneup for Vegaa....hopefully a learning experience.

Q2 is 76-135 on the road. KSU is currently 162 in KenPom, so still a yucky, yucky loss but not in the same stratosphere is Lafayette.
The 5 spot on defense is devastatingly deficient. Not sure a workable fix exists.

It’s a hell of a lot easier to see what to do sitting on our sofas than when playing in the game. Especially when you’re a freshman in only your 5th college game, in a huge moment.

I just dont get why we rent trying to just take it end to end there to go to the basket. We were in double bonus and any contact puts us at the line. Its why I wish Harper had the ball.

Somerville needs an attitude adjustment. Keeps making faces and chirps at refs after foul calls. Needs to be addressed ASAP.
We will not be fine. There is no urgency to get on boards. Boarding is a 5 person stat not just 5 hole. There were a number of suspect foul calls but DH is going to have reel in his emotion on foul calls (even though he was right) he's going to get labeled a whiner by refs and they'll call more fouls on him. Foul call on him was ridiculous, foul call on Somerville was ridiculous the dude locked up his arm, lots of weak sauce fouls same on Derkack by bench. Didnt see the one on Hayes cant comment on that one
You act like the kid just started playing the game of basketball last year. He's getting paid what, close to a million bucks, so he better understand the game by now.
Harper seemed like a different player those last 5 minutes. If he played like that all game, we win easily.
