That was the biggest difference to me. He needs to start taking over this team.
get the f-ing ball out of JWill and Jmikes hands. JWill can play some for defensive purposes but should not see the ball on offense
Appears so. Ball has got to come out once in awhile when it's ent in to him. Looked like Jwill was about done with his antics. BTW Jwills defense was excellent and led the run. Really need to figure out how to use him in the flow of the team.
Many bad plays in the first half was too much to overcome even with the offensive spurt near the end of the game.Allowing so many offensive rebounds is unacceptable.Having Hayes on the court without a offense to get him 3 point shots is unacceptable.Williams defense and Harper offense were the only positives .Bailey playing in front of family and friends turned out to be a poor decision.Losing this game might be viewed as a Lafayette type disaster at the end of the season.No time to feel sorry with 3 games in Las Vegas starting Tuesday.
What does him getting paid have to do with you insulting his intelligence over a common freshman mistake? Does it work that way for all of us? If we get paid, and we make a mistake, it means we’re dumbasses?

It can't be as bad as Lafayette, because this was a road loss, but it'll still be a bad loss, just not a monumentally NET-killing loss.
I hear you but then maybe they shouldn’t be playing a homecoming game in GA exclusively for that 18 yr old against an opponent that should never be on the schedule. That was in place of another game at the RAC.

Unfortunately cannot disagree more. These kids have logged more time on the court at 17 or 18 than 95% of most. They've played alot bigger tourneys & been in bigger high quality camps than this game against a 160+ team.
He will be fine a good growing moment for him Sometimes failing is good. Think these kids learned there's more to the game than just shooting
I assumed it was promised but the broadcast made it sound like KS coach raised the idea to Pike. Smart move by him if true to get a televised game and a ton of free press. What kind of revenue did RU give up for a game at the RAC?
Bailey’s basketball IQ and feel of the game looks more like Antonio Chol than a lottery pick.

I think after the 2 quick fouls and the realization that he needed to do more than just show up, the weight of the homecoming clearly got to him
Think we should have been full court pressing at least the last 8 minutes of the game. We did not try to change the flow of the game until too lste
When you're the boss, of course I'm perfect 😁. When my workers make a mistake it cost me money, so yes, they hear about it. Have you ever heard a construction site? It's not for the faint of heart and even my 18 yr. old laborers can take it for a helluva lot less money.
Hard to set that up when they’re not scoring. But agreed, should have pressed after every made basket in 2nd half. KS was a turnover machine
I mean, even for the oldest player in the NBA, it’s still way easier for fans to say what to do than it is for the player to do it in a game.
As a fan, I won’t be calling any players or coaches dumbasses for making mistakes, not freshmen, not wealthy NBA superstars. I have a personal rule whereby I don’t call anybody anything online I wouldn’t say to their face.
But everybody should live by their own rules, be who they want to be.
I don’t think the entire team took this game as seriously as they needed to, and that includes Bailey. They were not prepared for that environment. KS was more aggressive, dominated on the glass, seemed to get every loose ball. Maybe show up is the wrong word, but it takes more than just talent
I think that AB is an off the hook talent and will make a boatload of $$$ but unless he stacks 30lbs on his body he will get eaten alive in NBA on boards he is not 7'4-7'5 like Wembeyana
Would love to see both him and DH with 2yrs at RU wishful thinking for sure but would still love to see it. Learning the college route right now...plus college guys m as ke really good quan so you never know
You act like he just made 1 mistake today. He was HORRIBLE and our coach just went on the record saying how these guys..Ace and Harper are so battle tested by all these big ass games and teams and places they've played in their HS careers.
And btw your dumb ass isn't listed as the #1 or #2 NBA pick so with all those accolades, cash, and perks comes some accountability.

Of course it us...but at the same time you have 2 FT's and about 30 seconds to know the game situation and know what you are going to do wth the ball if it comes your way. You either need to push the tempo or get it up the court with fast crisp passes not a 1/2 court cross court pass. There is ALWAYS a centerfielder in the paint sitting on that pass. My daughter loved to 1/2 ct full court passes had to tell her 8 billion times that is a high risk/low reward pass. The person catching that ball would be in no position to do anything with ball 30ft from basket...even if that pass got there the only thing Martini had was someone cutting to the basket if there was a cutter

Partly because, if they’re working for me, they could get jobs anywhere. Being disrespectful is a great way to lose great people.
if they are anything like last year its a Q3 road loss. Its going to be a big stain either way because if we dont win more than 1 in Vegas our non conference schedule looks like crap with no quality wins
And paying them well and not working them into the ground makes them stay. I pay them well to not make mistakes, when they do, they're going to hear about it. I don't work them into the ground because the job is physical enough and production drops off if I do. My guys don't work 8 hr. days but get paid for them.
However we explain it away, bottom line he was horrific today. I felt like Andre Hyatt could have delivered us this type of game, 1 rebound, the huge turnover at the end, the other turnovers, poor shot selection, etc.. Obviously he’s significantly better than Andre Hyatt but that felt like a Hyatt kind of game.
ken pom is worthless at this point as is any ranking system, its too early, just going off of last year Kennesaw who finished 261....this game probably lands as a Q3 in the end,...i dont see Kennesaw finishing in the top 135 playing in a new tougher conference.'

Always where we were going to be. Growing pains on a team let by two freshman and just OK upperclassmen were always going to be a factor.

Can we agree this was an awful scheduling mistake to put this game 2 days before the biggest non conference tournament the schools ever played
Put this game right before Christmas or anywhere far away from 3 10x more difficult road/neutral games
Think they needed this game. The frosh are not used to fly in play & fly out within 24 hrs. All these camps & tourneys are 3+ days. Got to be ready to play when you get off plane
