The last two hurt. I have no idea how we find 7 wins to get us to 17 total. Tough task, and it hurts.

5-13. I hope I'm wrong, and in the positive direction.

I think you might be optimistic at 5-13 and 7 wins would mean we're going to go 7-9 the rest of the conference schedule. No way. Until further notice, I'd still put the over/under at 3 1/2 wins.

Prior to the season I thought 4-5 wins was a realistic expectation because of the lack of shooters/scorers.Nothing has happened to change my opinion that more wins will occur .The sad reality is the two home losses to Stony Brook and Hartford make the chances for a winning season far more difficult to accomplish.

This team beat a very good Seton Hall team and lost to two bad teams at home. It's almost impossible to predict right now, but it really depends on what version of the team shows up at home.

the issue is that while the team may bring it for Purdue or Northwestern will they bring it for Illinois or Nebraska. Its the lower end Big 10 schools that concern me because while there is nothing to fear from them, they will still beat Rutgers if RU does not play as much as a full 40 minute game as possible. Whenever this team let up during non conference play it looked terrible even against bad teams like NJIT and CCSU which they overcame because those teams are so bad. RU overcame a 27-13 defecit vs SHU but can they do that all the time with a lesser crowd. I am concerned about the consistent slow starts..every game same thing. Bad teams allowed to play evenly for much of the first half. How does it work against Big 10 teams. Plus while they put up nice efforts vs FSU and MSU in the end they still were losses, I fear a groundhog repeat much like we saw last year...plus now we have the confidence factor...it has to be shaken at this point. Now that is a whole lot of negative in those sentences but these two losses bring up all the bad stuff right now. I am just disppointed in how the players and staff handled a WTF by putting up another WTF, it was as if it was just a continuation of the same game.

Hoping for six but thinking 5-13/15-16 going to MSG

We do enough of everything else but hit makeabke shots to have been 9-9/21-10 this year ....

And there's 16 games remaining, so his point holds.

Rutgers predictions are always difficult because nobody knows if the team will have a pulse on offense game to game. There also is the added factor of now playing road games where Rutgers has a long history of failure.

Before the two game slide I was thinking 6-12. Now I'm thinking 4-14. They had better beat Wisconsin next week.

What's really troubling is that after the SH win I already penciled in Stony Brook and Hartford as wins (silly me) and had us winning at least 6 B1G wins giving us 18 wins on the season. Now that this team has totally _ucked up, and showed they're really not ready for prime time, I am at a loss. Maybe 5 wins is possible, but even so that only gives us 15 on the season and that's unacceptable. Right now I'm really disgusted with everyone associated with this team. You can't lose to those 2 schools. You just can't.

Can i say 4 1/2?

My big fear is that going thru the season with 0 injuries is less than a 50/50 chance.

Full roster 5 or 6. Take a few games away from a top 6 player and you are looking 2 or 3.

The most important thing at this point is that we are competitive and keep having recruits experience what I did at the RAC vs. MSU, FSU and SHU. Guys like Mulcahy and Valdir wouldn't have given us a sniff before last year, and now we're getting sincere interest.

I have it on good authority that we end up 15-3 in B1G. Not sure which team will "UPSET" us, but sure we will have a WTF game.

5 wins. With a little luck, we can win 1 on the road and make it only necessary to win half of our remaining home games.

Md and NW having injury issues------Terps lose 2 guys for the year and McIntosh gimpy with a knee problem.

That may help.

I think BAC hit it pretty well. We need 6 for a winning season which still could happen but after Stony Brook and Hartford it just might not happen. If we don't get that winning season this will be such a let down. I still cannot imagine how we could play so lousy vs. Hartford after losing to Stony Brook. College players only have 4 years to play and should come ready to play every time they lace them up and step on the floor. We have 8 home games left and I think we should have a good chance in all of them except for Purdue. However it is asking a lot to win all 7 of those other games. Our opponents will think they have as good of a chance in those games as well. Somehow we just need to win 6 of those games or 5 of them and one road win. Hopefully we can get the job done.

I still think we get 6

Iowa
Nebraska
at Penn State
Indiana
Northwestern
Illinois

not having a good feeling about Wisconsin on Friday but we make up for it with upset over Northwestern

5-13 in conference. At least we don’t have to play Hartford again.
