If you don't have the horses, you need to have something that gives you a chance. That has to be a spread or a running qb or an uptempo offense or all of the above.

Let's face it, we will never have the horses that Michigan or Ohio state have - or any of the other big boys. All of our solid performances are against 1aa or low level teams - including when we had more talent than Syracuse or Pitt or other big east teams.

We have to change it and try to play like northwestern. A mobile qb that gives them a chance.
 
I don't know why most people here wants Rutgers to run the Pro Style Offense come hell or high water. It's not Rutgers job to prepare players for the pros. It's Rutgers job to prepare players to compete in the Big 10. If you have to have a spread offense, a running (or better yet a dual) QB, Option Offense, whatever... Rutgers should do whatever it takes to compete.

Hell wven the Big Boys like Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame barely runs a pro offense anymore.
