Only 30% Of Our Rotation Played SHU Last Year...

That just dawned on me. 10-man rotation, but only Mike, Johnathan and Corey played in that game last year, so SHU needs ro account for 7 other guys they have never faced and have only seen on film. Now of course it goes both ways... our 7 newbies (5 true new, 2 injured) have also never faced those guys. So what's the point of my post? I dunno. Just thought it was interesting... and I'm bored on my lunch break.

I guess the point is a lot more unfamiliarity on both sides, unlike previous years when these guys knew each other very well.

P.S. Delgado indicated that his pregame chatter stems over and is fueled from last year's game, where he claims WE were talkin' a lot before the game. If what he says is true, who the F in their right mind, from our team, was talking? From last year's decimated team? What were they thinking? Seems bizarre. I know they're young and confident and all, but come on now. SMH if true.

I read the same quote and was thinking the exact same thing. We were 3-4 coming off of 3 straight losses and playing a team we hadn't beaten in 2 years. Who the hell would be talking smack?
And if there was any trash talking going on our end, we deserved the beating we got.

This is why the point spread means nothing to me for this game. It's still a real unknown how this team will play against better competition the rest of the way out since we have such an influx of new and healthy players along with a legit coaching staff.

We've taken care of all the cupcakes and haven't really suffered from playing down to the competition. Hopefully we can play up to the competion from here on out.

It is truly amazing that we have one scholarship player who is in his third season (non-redshirt) here and zero in his fourth.
