As a catcher sometimes you take some balls in spots that can hurt. It's not your every day wear and tear that got him. As a younger guy hopefully he heals from it quicker. If Alvarez is beat up on April 9, what happens on September 9?

He took a bad one off the hand the other day. There’s a difference between taking some hits and suffering from everyday wear and tear.If Alvarez is beat up on April 9, what happens on September 9?
Make that 18 pitchers in 11 games.Another fun stat - Mets have used 17 different pitchers in 10 games. The 1986 team used 15 pitchers all year.
In a corresponding move, Senga was transferred from the 15 to 60 IL which means he cannot return before Memorial Day which is the 27th.
Update. Game already called off before any rain has even yet started.Id look for the strong possibility of a rainout tonight should the forecast be accurate. Rain expected to move in around 6 pm and go straight thru until around 10am tomorrow.
Between last year and this year’s start- this kid has to be climbing tge ranks of top prospects very quick.
1 PM start time.Currently raining pretty hard here. I guess another postponement is a possibility, but a early afternoon game turning into a late afternoon or evening game is the more likely outcome.
a win today and the series win and a big comeback on the loss, could finally show a shiftAlways fun to smack around the Braves. Especially in front of their fans. Chop that!
that we are going to lose to them- where have you been for a couple of decades- lolFinally show a shift from what?
I mean I don't think this series proves that one way or the other that's why I was confused. Not like they haven't took a series from them in the past and ultimately lose out in the bigger picture. I'm not trying to be negative either but trying to glean some larger message from this doesn't make sense to me. If Strider were going today instead of Winans who replaced him we could have just as easily lost.that we are going to lose to them- where have you been for a couple of decades- lol
Not really meant at you but our team always just seems to roll over to them
