OT: B1G Lax game friday night

Rutgers hosts pen state . We already beat hopkins and michigan this season, so a win friday gives us a nice position in the BigTen standings - basically locking up a top 2 finish. Us and Maryland at the top. How about that?

Huge game. A win puts us in the B1G tournament and keeps us in the hunt for an at large birth.

Nice to be playing big games in April. Penn St. is good. They played Maryland and Hopkins to OT and lost. They were home though. Now they have to come to Rutgers to play a motivated RU squad under the lights with lots of alums in town for an event.

It's going to be a great game, but I like our chances. Get to it if you can. As fun as lacrosse is to watch on tv, in games you can to really see how fast and skilled the players are.

More than a little laughable that the RU-State Penn men's lax has been played for "The Friendship Cup" since 1998. Had no idea.

Lightening may stop it these days but they'll play through rain, even a hard rain.

Latest Bracketology has us on the outside looking in as the 13th out of 18 teams fighting for the 8 at large spots, with Penn State the first team out.
