This was ULA but I get the cynicism.

ULA built the booster Boeing the capsule. To tell you the truth, even though they're blaming the booster for the delay I don't believe them. I'd bet it's Boeing again screwing up but blaming the booster of which I don't believe we'll ever fly that type again. I'm also too lazy to put the slightest effort into debunking my outlandish claim. ; )

No May 17 launch due to helium leak

Meanwhile another Boeing plane catches fire in Indonesia . Plane is an aging 747 variant that's expensive to replace so airlines are flying them until they cant anymore. Cant blame Boeing for that.

only 7 years late and 1.7Billion over budget.......... now we can go 200 miles away!

somehow we went to the moon with a tv tube and an abacus..... 50 years ago.
I'm starting to wonder if this is just due to too much information available, combined with a fear of a disaster playing out on live TV that leads to the inevitable lawsuits. Pinhole helium leaks, winds too gusty 30,000 feet up, etc. "Paralysis by analysis".

We should, and will, and already have to a degree, be sending AI robots to explore for us.. to build for us.. to create an atmosphere for us.. before we go back ourselves. THAT would make sense.. but we'll do the humans thing.. for ego.
