OT: Bringing food into the RAC?

Depends on which way the wind is blowing. We have been to games where we fill our clear plastic bag with bottled sodas and hard pretzels and have not had a problem. But sometimes (seems like at random) they will take everything away. We actually had an argument about an apple once at the door.

My advice...bring your food or bottled sodas in your pocket.

For the last 5 years, I have brought a coffee from DD into the game and randomly on January 1st they stopped me and said I cannot bring it in.

I was like...why? They said new rules. I also believe the security company, as of January 1st is new as well- could have something to do with it.

I agree with previous poster...pockets work best!

put it into the front of your jacket and zip it up. My brother brings in a large plastic bag of peanuts every game in plain sight

Not recently, unless its in your pocket the guards at the door will make you leave it on the table. It's funny how many bottles are on that table by halftime.

I have been bringing a large plastic bag of peanuts in for the last 20 years. No one has said anything to me. i bring a bottle of pure leaf ice tea in also in my jacket and put it on the hospitality table where I sit for the game. No one has said anything. I have also brought in hoagies in plain sight and not a peep.

I think it is a matter of chance, possibly a policeman and/or ticket taker at one station is enforcing it, in another spot they are slacking off.... I had the same issue where I brought in dunkin donuts coffee for years, then all of a sudden, they did not want me
to bring it in....so I have not tried since.

anyway, I am bringing in two pp & j sandwiches wrapped up, in a coat pocket today

For security reason, i.e. Increased bad food sales, no food allowed. Agreed though put it in a pocket. We bring a designated candy bag since my sone was born. Last 12:00 start I was stopped. Bad pr with out a doubt. But typical ru.

Just a note...as a 20 year passholder I know Disney allows food & drink as long as its NOT in glass containers & no booze
the reason?...liabilty

Many people are diabetic...& need food handy just in case

I am willing to bet Rutgers has similar concerns(ie not wanting frivolous lawsuits)

I always bring in a publix sub to events...and assorted other goodies(cashews, chocolate etc)
no waiting in lines......its a win win...

For some reason at sporting events I requite 2 monster coney dogs with everything
from RACETRAK,,,a buck apiece!!!.....
