OT: Christmas light displays

Went into NYC for the day with my daughter and her friends to check out the tree. Always a good time and really gets you in the spirit. Saks has got a great display and its amazing how everyone is in such a festive mood. Nice to see. Even took a walk into Trump tower, very impressive display of cops with M-16's and secret service every 15 feet.

While looking on youtube for the Saks display to send my 92 year old mom who grew up in Little Italy I found this pretty cool display. Reminds me of the Schiano days during pre-game:

My neighbors across the street did a pretty impressive display every year. No synchronized music, but lots of characters, and the entire property illuminated. Was featured in News 12, in the Star-Ledger and other media over the years. We'd get tons of cars stopping by to check it out, usually with kids. Really added to the holiday spirit of the neighborhood.

Alas, the owner died a few years back, and his wife is about to begin a jail sentence for racketeering, so they've scaled way back this year.

Started living in NJ in 1936.My step dad took us up to Wyoming ave,So. Orange,to see the decorated houses at Christmas time that year..First time ever seeing this. Obviously I remember them 80 years later.

There's a house by us in Warren that puts on a KICK A** light display. tune your car radio and drive on by. really awesome
