Don't kid yourself. The Feds could have gone after UNC for Pell Grant fraud, as Federal $ were used to help fund the education of student-athletes who were involved in those fake classes. Pell grant-related academic fraud occurred for non-student-athletes as well.

It is even worse in Basketball. Mid major teams pay guys in basketball
