Does anyone know of any food trucks that do fat sandwhiches for private events such as a wedding? Buddy of mine getting married in Allentown NJ this summer and wants a food truck specifically making classic fat sandwiches for the after party.

Grease trucks have been gone for 10+ years.

RU Hungry stuck around and opened a restaurant on the Hamilton Street side of the Yard.

Website says they do weddings.

Tip: The in-store menu board does not list my favorite, the Fat Koko. Don’t fret, RU Hungry still serves Kokos. The sandwich is listed on the online menu.

Find a for-rent truck service in your area and ask them if they will make the sandwich.. and get the price.. it is not rocket science.. it is more like plumbing.. aka installing a kitchen sink.. or a toilet.. which you will need many of

Sounds like an idea that works but with 1000 moving parts of planning a wedding. I’m sure he would rather just find someone who already does it and has it already figured it out.

They don’t do the food truck for private events anymore.

Plus, you don't just hire anyone to make something that unique.

Just give your local Oklahoma pie guy the NJ pizza recipe ...nah

I seem to remember them still having a truck but I guess they got rid of it. Their location in the Yard is close to where the old trucks used to be and they do well there.
I think they still bust out the old truck for football games and park it along the boardwalk. I'm not 100% sure if it was there this past year because I always eat at my tailgate and just walk right past everything at the boardwalk, but I do remember seeing it at least in 2023.

I wouldn’t be surprised. It makes sense for the boardwalk. Maybe they just don’t do catering events outside of that.

The original Fat Cat didn’t have many “extras”, it was just big.

So this video and history lesson is incorrect.
