OT: Go UConn

I can never wish for a UConn win after the way they treated our fans at their airport/football field

This is must see TV. They are playing for the Litigation Cup. If UCONN loses they can sue BC again.

Yep. Our pain is temporary. The misery of the AAC is permanent.
What's temporary? Light years behind Michigan and Ohio St. Never close to Penn St. Not in same category as Michigan State. Historically worse than Maryland. What does that leave? Battling with IU for bottom dweller in the BIG East? Although, the Hoosiers look better than RU. Like the good old days with Temple.

Use of current performance and personal views typically leads to bad forecasting. Permanent is a long time and time is on Rutgers side.

Why are you posting here? We are not in the same conference as you guys anymore, and thankfully that will ALWAYS be the case.

I thought selling beer at college venues was a great idea until going there. Now I'm 100% against it.

I've never seen anything like that place. My wife and I made the trip up for the game when we were going for the conference championship. By the 3rd quarter the guys behind us were so drunk they began spilling their drinks on us and hurling profanities at us. I was so pissed, she looked at me and I said I'm about to go to jail. I pussied out at my wife's urging and we left. That place is a sh*thole.

I would lose to Ohio State the next 10 years straight to then finally have a chance to beat them in year 11, then to lose to East Carolina for 10 years straight and then lose to them again in year 11.

My wife (then gf) surprised me with 50-yd line tickets in 2007. I was surrounded by drunk @ssholes and UConn dominated us on the field, which didn't help.

In a situation like that, even the toughest guy in the world has no options when outnumbered like that. And every scenario ends up with you being kicked out, at a minimum.

The thing is, I think that would happen at any stadium that sells beer.

BC has been in conference for 10 years so they should be better than they are.

In three years Ash will have turned it around just as GS did. We are 1-2 vs. UM, 1-1 vs Maryland and 2-1 vs Indiana. Have a little faith my chicken hearted friend. The UCONN's and Temples of the world are finished as far as football goes. They will play out their days in the purgatory that is the AAC with no chance of escape. The world changed and they got left behind.

Schiano didn't turn it around, he created some measure of success but that was very modest by most standards. Fact is Rutgers had a very good year and some decent years while the BE was in transition. RU was a bottom dweller in the original BE and there is not much that would indicate that will change.

Conn-U was a no-show today, losing 30-0 up in Boston to BC.

I could not find the game on tv, probably wasn't even televised.

Now, Pitt has a very good team but their stadium is quite empty today in their game vs Duke.
Coming off a huge upset over Clemson I thought their fans would turn out strong today.
But no, they did not.
