OT: NCAA College Football Games Thread 11/26-11/30 Tues-Sat

I just want to see Ole Miss or Bama play up north in the snow.

I have seen a lot of videos by SEC-friendly sites pushing/predicting home games int eh playoffs for SEC teams.

I have seen a story suggesting Nick Chubb's success in cold weather for teh Browns proves SEC teams can play in cold weather (the data supporting that was 59-yard game but scoring 2 TDs... and some other cold weather game with NO rushing data presented.

The idea that they have to come up north to play a playoff game is in their heads. I want to see it happen.

For years I have said bowl games in warm or indoor ideal conditions is not fair to Big Ten teams that have to formulate to win those November games in Big Ten venues... not only that.. all the northern players bodies have adjusted to the cold and then they spend a week in warm weather and have to deal what we have all experience in warm weather trips during the height of winter.. you all know what that feels like.

I want to see the shoe on the other foot for SEC fans.

I wonder if the committee won't penalize teams for losing conference title games if it means they drop out of the playoff but could use conference title losses to adjust seeding. In other words, PSU could be the 5th seed if they play a close game with UO but if they get smoked, they could end up getting seeded 7th or 8th.
I think that's what Phillips is saying and I think there's a good chance that will happen probably most years. The champ games more times than not might be for seeding assuming there isn't some 3-4 loss team going into one. So a 3-4 loss team going into a champ game could be a bid stealer but I don't know that a 1-2 loss team going into one would fall out of the playoffs completely with a loss. More likely it might take a spot from someone who didn't make a champ game.

conf games are not supposed to hurt teams is how I understand it

I never said he can't coach or recruit. That is a ludicrous position to take when he has always been a good recruiter. But I did say they would not get 8 wins. Rutgers beat that same team named Miami in a bowl last year. The entire ACC is weak AF, except for SMU. Miami was gifted wins against Va Tech (Rutgers beat them) and Cal. Very suspect ranked team. Dry your undies, they are all wet.
lmao you actual said this Miami team was the same one you played in the bowl game? For starters Cuse didnt play MIami's 3rd string QB and the opt out team of misfits. You only beat that team by 7. SU played a team with something to play for along with their potential top 10 pick at QB.

Your best win was vs Minnesota. Cut it out
