OT: NCAA College Football Games Thread 11/26-11/30 Tues-Sat

Sone random observations on the season. Ryan day should look to the pros and get out after the playoff. The ACC champ this year may be a team that was an also ran in the AAC last year. I wonder how osu would have fared I'd they kept Mccord or signed cam ward. Will Howard was not the answer. Either was chip kellyvi guess. Indiana will make thevplayoff without having beat anyone. Nebraska ucla and Illinois all winnable games. What could have been for rutgers this year.

A lot of these scuffles this weekend. Seems like more than normal even if it’s rivalry week.

Wonder if some rules/fines will pop up after all these scuffles from flag planting.

Blocked punt sets A&M in the redzone down 17-7
A&M can’t cash in from the 1. I didn’t like the 3rd and 4th down calls. Take it to the outside or some RPO or qb draw maybe with your mobile qb. Hand off up the gut isn’t a high percentage play imo.

ISU up 29-21 on KSU

BYU tied with Houston 7-7

BYU might not have anything to play for with ISU looking like it’s close to winning.

ISU missed a 37yd FG so KSU has about 1:11 left to tie down 8.

Colorado will be rooting for a BYU loss and ISU rooting for a BYU win.

ISU is going to win and it’ll be Colorado and ISU on either side of BYU lol. BYU is out of the B12 champ game.

Love the energy. A lot of people thought the NIL era would make players care less as in theory they would just be playing to collect a payday or to level up to their next portal pay increase.

But Norvell is going to be fired AF very soon, maybe he can keep the Gators flag as a memento.

Houston scores a TD and goes for 2 and is down 6 now with 8:34 left. I’m guessing Fritz was trying for the win to avoid OT should they get another TD.

Colorado and ISU on pins and needles

Houston fumbles on 4th and 7 around the BYU 40 and it gets bobbled around all the way to the Houston 20…and a roar is heard in Ames.

BYU up 24-18 with 5 mins left

BYU TD to go up 30-18 which pretty much seals it for them and ISU goes to the B12 title game against ASU

Was just watching the B1G show and they showed a highlight of PSU throwing a TD pass with 4 seconds left in the game and already up 38-7 over MD. Locksley was not happy and I can't blame him. Shades of PSU/RU at the Meadowlands. Franklin is a punk.

Disagree he is a punk for this, and Greg would disagree.

Was watching the CFF highlights this morning, didn't most of the USCe Clemson game. Looks like that had a fun ending. Sellers runs in with just over a min left to go up 17-14. Clemson gets the ball into a pretty makeable FG range but has an INT off deflection, game over.

Cuse was down 21-0 and came back to beat Miami. Miami got a taste of their own medicine lol. They've had a few comebacks this year after going down quite a bit early only to come back for the win late.

No, he’s not
Mikes been told he has 2 years to fix this

Unless he bombs next year, he’ll get that time
64 million dollar buyout says hello

He’s a joke bc he’s not putting up with a rival school planting their flag at midfield in a sign of ultimate disrespect?

He’s got 64 million reasons not to give a shit, but the guy has character, and most importantly, pride and respect.

Hats off to UF, they were the better team, but that’s a bush league move, and I love that my head coach wasn’t having it.

I thought you said one year, now it’s gone to 2 years. That’s what I figured and wouldn’t be surprised if it was even more. Not many schools are going to be A&M.

If he turns it around no problem but if not in two years it would still be 46 million. That’s not chump change for most places especially when schools playing players is factored in and then buyouts for the entire staff and hiring a new staff comes into play.

I said 2 unless they bomb next year then they’d pull the plug Willie style

It’s not chump change but it’s affecting a lot of things - businesses, economy, Booster $$

When the natural order of things falls out of balance, things happen quickly if it’s not rectified

Aggie had everything set up perfectly
Rival school, home field advantage, first and goal, 4th quarter
I pick on em b/c of WPN, but sometimes I legit think they're cursed

I find it interesting that the damage to their football program from being in the ACC was so great they needed to immediately fight to get out even if it cost them hundreds of millions of dollars, but they are okay with risking sucking and being irrelevant for a couple of years in football to avoid a coaching buyout that is 10-20% of that.
