Wow OSU kicker has now missed a 38 yard & 34 yard FG.
I’m telling ya….keep giving Michigan hope and who knows what will happen.
Also, quick side note. Compare Gus Johnson (who I can’t stand) to Joe Tessitore in last night’s UGA/GaTech game. Gus is not talking about “OSU in the CFP with a win” the way Tessitore was.

Ryan Day might be fired this evening if he manages to lose this game.
OSU is coaching scared, doing exactly what Michigan wants, shortening the game by running a lot and not taking advantage of their huge advantage in skill position players.

Just got a hold on a nice return.. and on Vols previous possession, ball was on a long yardline.. say Vandy's 40 for example.. Vady players faked a blitz, their feet clear on the right side of teh LOS.. a Vol OT jumped.. and refs called it encroachment setting up a 3rd and 2.
Countless offensive holds for TN not called too.
Lets take Vandy to teh Big Ten. This bastard step-child level abuse is something they should do something about.

Naahh, they just know that if they call the game accurately, fans will throw debris on the field. And, they don't want to have to go through that again.

Gus Johnson is who he is. Some like his unique style, others hate it. But unlike Tessitore, he is not being a partisan shill.
Oh my….awful INT for Michigan. Let’s be honest….while this game is compelling, it’s a pretty terrible college football game.
Yup the conferences will do all they can to avoid upsets when it comes to positioning for bowl games. Illinois got away with a ton of holding vs R last week as an FYI.
Seriously! We need a wellness check in the press box for ole Gus. He hit an octave I've never heard him make, then they went to commercial with mics off.
He always reminds me of the Hindenberg reporter - "Oh the humanity - that interception is the worst of the worst catastrophes in THE WORLD!! Oh my goodness what did we see!"
Yeah, that was terrible - TE was wide open in the end zone. These QBs aren't particularly good.
IMO, yes. Would be 4 consecutive losses to UM and no natty.
Imagine being a player on a top program every single year, stay all 4 years at OSU, and never beat Michigan? Just can’t happen in that rivalry.

WTF happened with the clock? It was 1:37 left after the play clock started after 3rd down when the ball was spotted and UM called TO with 1:00 left, but then, somehow, more clock ran off and they snapped the ball for the FG with 0:48 left - where did those 12 seconds go?

Winning the natty would certainly save him. Anything less, who knows?
Announcers explained it. Somebody on OSU had lost his helmet, which stops the clock, which results in a 10 second runoff. Then it restarted.
Ryan Day is one of the worst big game coaches I have ever seen. He deserves to be fired.
In a few years they will be talking about how little this team did with 5-6 WR/RBs that are playing in the NFL.
