no they haven’t but there are some major differences. I don’t condone the rioting and they should be dealt with criminally. There are many reasons why the virus will spread faster through college campuses than protests. How about protestors and rioters?
Do they follow guidelines?
You know exactly it a was correct statement about those cities and what is happening there. But keep the facade up it only proves the point more . This attitude it‘s a lie or fake news is comical. Having personally witnessed Newark’s burning and collapse during the late 60’s only shows your lack of truth.
Relax it’s coming soon to you ...it starts first in cities then eventually gets to your neighborhood ...your town... I have lived in a blue state NJ hfor 70 years and witnessed Newark’s destruction on a personal level...they still haven’t recovered ... the reason the violence ended? People stopped being pushovers in the surrounding towns... I love N.J. still but people are moving out as in NYC and buying in what they hope will be a safer and better environment for their families.I live in one of the bluest cities in one of the bluest states. And no burning.
It's always fun to watch people who don't live here (thankfully) run their mouths about it.

You’ll see it soon enough...if you believe your personal philosophy insulates you from this ideology of “ destroy it “ ...you need to read a couple of historical periodicals on everyone is a target ...even possibly you.Sure it is. Is the burning coming before or after that caravan?
actally number of deaths below 1000 for several days1,000-2,000 people a day dying from this, every day, under scaled back socialization, I hate the media for so much fake news
Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, NYC... not only burnt out cities but plenty of burnt out street vagrants...
If there wasn't scaled back socialization what do you think the death totals would be each day?1,000-2,000 people a day dying from this, every day, under scaled back socialization, I hate the media for so much fake news
Bob, I can't speak for the other cities, but your source for info on Portland is clueless. I work in Portland. Every day. Drive right through it at 6:30 am and again on the way home at 4:00 pm. Nothing is "burning down". Nothing is even on fire. lolPortland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, NYC... not only burnt out cities but plenty of burnt out street vagrants...

Seriously, stop relying on Fox News. It's not news - just entertainment for the right whose sole mission is to get Trump re-elected at any cost. So they have to make their stories fit Trump's crazy narrative of "total chaos" and "riots everywhere". Here's a news flash - 90% of what Fox covers on "the riots" is not true. If you want the truth, go to multiple media outlets EVERY DAY and then realize reality lies in between - closer to NPR than Fox - but in between the 2. And make a point of going to the BBC's website. They actually do agood job covering US politics from a mostly unbiased point of view.
Who says burnt to the ground ...,tell us the violence is fake? It’s real and the scum bags who allow it are the real issue... so tell us when they come to your street if you like it...Jenny and Lori have shown they don’t give two shats for anyone but themselves... karma is good .From someone who actually lives in the PNW Seattle (and Portland) are far from being burnt to the ground so let's stop with the exaggeration. And I'm not saying that I agree with the wacko Seattle City Council condoning and letting the protests get out of hand but city is not burning down. It's too bad there are no moderates anymore just the wackjob buffoons on the 2 extremes.

Just looks like another day in paradise in Portland.
wait some guy didnt get the crap beat out of him last week by ANTIFA..oh boy, i will wait here
the friend part might be but the November 3rd part isn’t. Just not sure yet if the virus goes away and the economy tanks or if every city will burnt to the ground. Either way it’s lose-lose unfortunately
Stop trolling, Counselor. Not even close. Asbury Park is a racially diverse city that gets along for the most part. There were some small and spirited demonstrations after the death of George Floyd, but now people are back to living in harmony and enjoying life--some of the protesters should try that some time--living in harmony with people of diverse backgrounds. They might even learn something instead of how to cause damage, mayhem and discord.looks much better than asbury park

You are delusional but it’s where you live.... keep the druggies and homeless vagrants you deserve them ...Well actually you did when you said the cities were burnt out....to me that implies burned to the ground. Of course the violence was real but it isn't coming to the Eastside of Lake Washington because have don't extremist politicians in bed with the violent protesters that will let it get out of hand. But just FYI the majority of the protesters here were not violent and did not cause major issues....it was a much smaller group who were ridiculously out of hand. But keep those blinders on and fail to see the nuances of the issue.
is westcoast actually saying 200 protesters didnt attack a building over the weekend and try to light it on fire...are you actually gaslighting..omfg

Just looks like another day in paradise in Portland.
A guy who actually lives there gives his experience from the ground, you bring up a single incident spoonfed to you by fox news 3000 miles away, and he's gaslighting?
I call it like I see it. I don't care about sides. What is going on in Portland is disgusting.thank you for this sir.
lmfao...do you read the news, i guess not
You are delusional but it’s where you live.... keep the druggies and homeless vagrants you deserve them ...
sure he lives there....what makes it even more appalling he is trying to actually tell us there is not violence there virtually every night...there are receipts
The original post was regarding cities such as Seattle, Portland , Chicago , Atlanta, Minneapolis and NYC ... That original poster was not me... but seeing first hand NYC and the others don’t call me the moron since it is obvious those cities have become occupied by the radical left... if you like that type of infiltration fine with us... to deny what your governor and mayor has allowed is criminal... when it comes to your neighborhood post again how wonderful it is ... I spent months back in the early 70’s in Washington and Oregon... beautiful states but you better understand what is going on ... didn’t look to be peaceful from what we saw on the news...I'm delusional? I least I'm not an f'in moron like you. Do you even listen to the uninformed crap you you constantly spew out. I'm not saying the city of Seattle doesn't have problems especially with the damned socialist agenda city council. But it is far from the complete cess pool that you make it out to be unlike your brain.
To show how much of your post is BS ... for anyone who wants the true facts check KOIN. com from 3 hours ago... 87 straight days of protests... 23 arrests Sunday ... and the exodus of businesses is the worst in 42 years... yes everything is beautiful in Portland RC1991... Daimler Chrysler and list of both large and small Businesses leaving for good... and you think I’m a moron ... get a life.
I have been in both and both were nice places... You have the balls to call me the moron about Portland and now you claim” I live in Seattle.. you need to get your claims straight ... Portland is in trouble... I lived in Seattle for 4 months... 68 inches of rain between January through April ... swore then I would never go back though Mt. Ranier remains a pleasant memory... but the governor and mayor there are both culpable for the things which occurred. For the record I live in Washington and was referring to Seattle and not Portland since I specifically mentioned the the socialist agenda of some members of the Seattle city council. The mayor of Seattle for record also vetoed the ridiculous city council plan regarding cuts to the police force. That was a sound and moderate approach to take. It's too bad it wasn't enough to keep the police chief from feeling she had to step down. There are members of the city council (at least one) who would qualify as the radical left, the mayor and now former police chief not so much....the governor not so much either. Maybe you should read some other news sources to get a feel from what is actually happening. Since you are referring us to news sources you can check out Kiro7.com and Komonews.com and the Seattle Times to see there are no mentions of violent protests here at this time.
