Or to a decent OC.Somehow Schiano got an extra $2m. Should’ve went to players instead.

What would this coaching staff have done with McCord?McCord could have been here but Syracuse paid him750G.
Please get a new oc...it's crazy how ancient the offensive scheme is compared to everyone else...Or to a decent OC.

Had him fair catch punts. Poor handoff technique. What would this coaching staff have done with McCord?
More ignorance here. You think Negative Two Point Zero wants different ? KC didn’t hire himself, and neither did AK.Please get a new oc...it's crazy how ancient the offensive scheme is compared to everyone else...
But wasn’t that the initial NIL concept? Allow students to capitalize on their NIL? If you’re not one of the top 1-2 % of course the ROI doesn’t work. There isn’t enough ROI for corporate interests.
Here is why-our DC/Linebackers coach has not coached linebackers at this level. He was only co-DC under Joe Rossi at Minnesota, who handled the linebackers. Joe Rossi was vilified here, but he is now viewed as one of the best DCs in the B1G:I think it’s understood that RU is not going to be able to attract difference makers at this level in the NIL market. That doesn’t explain why we have two 3rd year LBs (one of whom was a high 4 star recruit) who have a difficult time being in proper position or unable to make plays in space against B1G competition. Also why there are so few DL and DB backups that can replace ailing starters and not cause a big drop off in level of play.
We are nearby the financial center of the world. When does the Athletics Department start ringing the bell? With all the angst of being a Rutgers fan, now it’s our burden to pony up? Yes, in a small way. Most should come from corporate engagement and extremely well-heeled alumni. Where’s our Nike? Where’s our FedEx? Where’s our Walmart? For Rutgers to consistently win, fans are going to have to pony up. There’s no way around it.
Wow. Although you’re not wrong, that just made me seem like a positive person in comparison. Not sure I can handle my newfound optimism but thanks.I’m over big time college football. We started too late, tried to half ass it, and stopped half assing it way too late to realistically catch up. Trying to compete with teams that have been paying players under the table for decades and now they can legally pay them more (while still certainly paying under the table) feels like a fools errand. You now have to recruit your own players every year because of the transfer portal. To call it college football anymore is frankly a joke. The beauty of college football was that there was at least the illusion that the players were doing it for the glory of the school/state. That is now dead.
Let’s be realistic - there are about 5-10 teams nationally that will consistently be in the running under this new paradigm We’re not going to be one of them so why should I care. What is my incentive to give a crap?
The school is doing just fine with terrible sports.
Absolutely. Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan weren’t built by corporate America. They were built by fans who cared. Ohio State fans pooled their dimes and nickels to build the horseshoe in 1920. Meanwhile Rutgers fans needed a government handout to build the original Rutgers Stadium. We haven’t been conditioned to support the school. Nevertheless, this is our opportunity to. Either we do it, or it’s not going to get done.We are nearby the financial center of the world. When does the Athletics Department start ringing the bell? Not going to happen with this type of team, boring offense doesn't do anything for potential fans. Rutgers is completely different from the schools you listed and this is a different time. It has to be done differently as this is a different era. Idk what but I'm sure there are greater financial minds than mine available for hire in this area. First of all, is there a nil collective? How is it that college football is so profitable for everyone else that the Saudis and the Chinese are trying to get a piece? Wth? who is running things down at Rutgers? Get a good marketer and have them sell some corporations of the potential money making opportunities of a top 25 football team in this area. Who the hell sold the big ten on Rutgers? Use that same strategy to get these corporations on board..Absolutely. Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan weren’t built by corporate America. They were built by fans who cared. The sad truth of it is a successful football team isn’t a priority for most fans. Heck, we can’t even get fans to show up on time for games. Not going to happen with this type of team, boring offense doesn't do anything for potential fans. so then injuries are the issue and not NIL. You said we had our greatest team ever.It was, till we had injuries.
It was our best team till we had injuries. Adequate NIL would have ensured we had adequate depth.so then injuries are the issue and not NIL. You said we had our greatest team ever.
Seems like a stretch. If it was our best team then we are fine NIl wise. Unless you exaggerated all offseason. It was our best team till we had injuries. Adequate NIL would have ensured we had adequate depth.
We’d fine if we had few injuries. That wasn’t the case.Seems like a stretch. If it was our best team then we are fine NIl wise. Unless you exaggerated all offseason.
Because tailgate parties don’t mostly lose for decades. The sad truth of it is a successful football team isn’t a priority for most fans. Heck, we can’t even get fans to show up on time for games.
As long as they can tailgate, and be social, our fans are happy.
The orthopedic surgery center we've sent all these top tier players should be kicking back to our NIL collective if they want future business. We put plenty of money in their pockets. It was, till we had injuries.
Go fck yourself cheese. I have several more clues than you. My friends have National Championship Rings. You have a big mouth.Shut up Al. You're clueless
Any football dorm sleepovers in Lexington yet Adonis Al of Owensboro ? Maybe plant one of your high tech cameras in your pretend lover’s room ? Still contributing to his NIL and writing 2025 propaganda for his Heisman run ?Go fck yourself cheese. I have several more clues than you. My friends have National Championship Rings. You have a big mouth.
There isn’t enough ROI for fan interests either. There isn’t enough ROI for corporate interests.
Reasonable thought. Unless maybe RU gets special pricing - although it raises the question of what sort of insurance plan covers the players. The orthopedic surgery center we've sent all these top tier players should be kicking back to our NIL collective if they want future business. We put plenty of money in their pockets.
The ROI is the satisfaction derived from success. When an investment works, it’s a beautiful thing. Miami fans feel plenty of ROI, now that the team is still undefeated. Feels like just yesterday they were losing to us in the Pinstripe Bowl. What did they do? They got the best QB money could buy that was available. Should they make the playoffs, the school will reap a hell of a lot more than $2M, which was the price paid for Kam Ward. There isn’t enough ROI for fan interests either.
Umm, al it is important to have the facts straight when spouting off. The Canes DID NOT spend $2M on Cam Ward. The ROI is the satisfaction derived from success. There will always be an excuse for the Schiano supporters, NIL is just the latest and greatest, but if it didn't exist there would be another, like the fact that we supposedly need a new fieldhouse.💯.
This, “we’d have depth if not for NIL” is a BS cop out.
Miami fans spent $934 K via the Miami Collective, CanesConnection. He got secondary deals from others, pushing his total to $2M.Umm, al it is important to have the facts straight when spouting off. The Canes DID NOT spend $2M on Cam Ward.
Cam Ward signed a true NIL deal with a Fortune 500 company and a second true NIL deal with Nutrabolt C4 Energy. He has an NIL agent secure those deals. He also has a deal with the Canes collective.
His TOTAL NIL value is ESTIMATED to be $2 MIL.
Riddle me this- why can't Rutgers, adjacent to the center of the media universe and with a panoply of Fortune 500 companies in their back yard, assist their players in getting similar deals? Instead of browbeating our loyal fans to pony up more, maybe you should brow beat Rutgers to work harder to beat the bushes of corporate sponsorship.
Cam Ward NIL Value: A Quick Look Into the Deals and Endorsements of Miami Hurricanes QB
Miami Hurricanes' QB1 Cam Ward has seen his NIL value skyrocket to nearly $2 million, placing him in the top 10 among college athleteswww.essentiallysports.com
The $934k is not the money raised or given to Cam via the collective. That is what the author or algorithm “thinks” Cams open market value is. Very misleading.Miami fans spent $934 K via the Miami Collective, CanesConnection. He got secondary deals from others, pushing his total to $2M.
