11-16 from three in first half only.how good is Purdue. Legit NC contender
17/24 from 3. Still 11 minutes left.11-16 from three in first half only.
they won by 23 but it wasnt even that close...could have been double the margin. Purdue has proven to be the best in the Big 10 so far...havent played MSU or OSU yet
Iowa has proven to be a train wreck inept in everything they do....bye bye Fran
The scheduling is so odd. And I’m not going to pretend to pay enough attention as to why but how is it we have played MSU twice and they haven’t played Purdue once
Does it essentially all even itself out by the end of the year? I realize we’re two different divisions so Purdue and MSU night only play once
According to what Pike said at a Court Club meeting last season, the schedule has nothing to do with luck. It is intentional that the lower ranked teams play the higher ranked more often. The B1G, as do other conferences, wants as many teams as possible to have good records so they can get into the field of 64 with good seedings at the end of the season. The easiest way for the better teams to have good records is to beat up on the lower ranked teams rather than each other. There aren't any divisions in basketball... just one 14 team conference. I don't know if there is any rhyme or reason behind who plays who twice. It certainly isn't for competitive balance since RU has to play the top two teams twice and we were picked to finish last again. I guess some years you get luckier than others in terms of scheduling.
