Eight Florida children were killed by drivers,farmers complained that their livestock was becoming balky,etc.
For my part,since I went to work in the dark in the winter,I loved the additional sunlight.
Alas,it was not to be.
Congress ended year long DST in October,partially restoring the old date parameters,a full restoration of them occurred in 1976.
Today,the Senate passed resolution to go to full DST lies in limbo.
