Verlander only had 4.3runs a game support compared to 7.6
Going 16-9 with 4.3 runs a game in support is pretty amazing
Winning 20 with 7.6, much less so

Half his games were at Fenway. Of course his run support should be higher. His ERA reflects how well he pitched there as well. I dont have a preference on who won but that needs to be considered. Comerica more pitcher friendly.
22-4 wins Cy Youngs. 16-9 does not. Yes there is a compelling run support case but 22-4 is 22-4.
Of course her candid pics make it look like she put on a few. SI cover and it's aftermath was after months of diet and training, not to mention perfect lighting, positioning, and photoshop of any pics. In the off season expect her to relax a little, have a donut, and get something to hold onto. I never thought she was the best thing ever but if you're saying "eh.. I'll pass" you're nuts.

22-4 also was #1 in RS in all of baseball by .7 runs a game (next closest was Happ with 6.9)
22-4 is impressive, but spot any half decent pitcher over 7.5 runs a game and you will see a pretty sparkling record
