OT: Kelly’s Korner Closed?

Drinking age was 18 back then. I was considered an adult as a junior in high school! The Homestead Tap in my hometown Highland Park was my place but I did make appearances at Smogi's and Walt's and so many others. It's a wonder I survived.
Ah The Homestead.... five dollar pitchers of kamikazes.

Where was this? Born in 1989 so it's before my time...
Between 2nd and 3rd, southbound side. Nowadays it's a Thai restaurant. Frank Perger was the proprietor. They served Perger burgers. It was a great neighborhood place. I hardly recognize HP or NB these days but it's all good.

Had many a burger/fries for $1 right up until the pandemic. A favorite watering place to go - especially after home Rutgers football games.
I will also attest to the $1 price around this time. I even got them to make double deckers. This and Golden Rail were my favorite pre and post game pubs.
