His choice should include also besides hormone treatments , male castration . There are many claiming to be but refuse to complete the transition .Bruce Jenner is an example of that and I like the guy (Katie) but why not just cut it off? Maybe he’s still not positively sure he is a woman?
The first part- I was sarcastically responding to someone else. Full transition or pre- doesn't matter, they have had all those years of being male in a male body- it is unfair competition. And even more so in a completely individual sport that highly favors a man over a woman.
Many do the hormones but will not change the genitalia- and that goes both ways. I'm not understanding why you would feel that anyone has to make this a part of their choice.
