Lots of good stuff yesterday. Megill and bullpen looked great. Soto got the big hit out of the way and Vientos got a 2nd year confidence builder early.
Lindor is going to always end the year near the 30/30, just wish he can get started early. Pete will be 35-45 HR

Leadoff of K pass ball led to him being pulled after Altuve hit a ground ball single just lot of lindors reach.

Baty needs to get cooking soon , once McNeil starts assignment to get some at bats before joining club I feel Baty will put too much pressure on himself

Lindor hasn't hit yet, but it's only two games. That said, as I'd mentioned, he wasn't hitting in the spring either.
And Boomer never moved the needle. He was a good QB, but not someone you build a team around.
I haven’t liked Boomer for a long time. Very much an out of touch ex athlete.
But, if he thinks Soto doesn’t move the needle- where would the 2024 Yankees have been?
