OT: Penn State's Blatant Recruiting Violation

Great pic on that blog:

No violation....because Hill has already signed a financial aid agreement. At least that is what's being reported on BWI. I don't know - I am no expert on recruiting rules.

How does financial aid even work if you have a full athletic scholarship? is it a loan of spending money?

There should be a rule that states they cannot sign said recruit or else it may just work to their advantage. All PSU has to do is say oops sorry bout that currently and can still sign this recruit.

There are financial aid papers you can sign that bind the school to honor your scholarship, and once they are signed the school can talk about the player like they would a recruit who signed a letter of intent on National Signing Day. It doesn't bind the player to the school though, and if the player chooses to go elsewhere, the school can be hit with a violation if they announced the signing, etc.

Living in VA I can say that as much as some are not happy with RU and Maryland in the BIG, I have not met one person who likes PS. I do not know what it is, but man it runs deep.

Maybe time to retire this soon, getting old like whoever it was that always posted "fail"

I'm sure there are hundreds of other ways to make fun of them
Speak for yourself. I still laugh every time as Patrick has a way with words. Even a couple of our PSU visitors enjoy it.

The 'FAIL' guy was lame from the get go.

USC did it with Daelin Hayes. He signed but decommitted and now enrolled at ND no don't think anything will happen to USC though

He probably signed them five minutes after this picture was taken.

I think your Flood picture profile is getting old. Time to change it.

Exactly right.....Now somebody flip this kid quick!! Lol

No one likes PSU in the conference. They have the worst fans too.

Ah well, such is life! if everybody likes you you're doing something wrong. Eventually your fawning over Michigan and OSU will wear off. Lol

No one is fawning over OSU and UM. And we don't hate State Penn because you're doing things right. Quite the opposite actually. We, and the rest of the B1G fans, are merely pointing out the State Penn are a bunch of delusional, nutcase, culty drones whose arrogance has no bounds and who have shown little remorse or humility despite the worst cover up of a hideous crime in the history of college sports, all in the name of protecting the precious football program which unfortunately for you knuckle heads is what that school is all about.
