OT: Penn State's Blatant Recruiting Violation

No one is fawning over OSU and UM. And we don't hate State Penn because you're doing things right. Quite the opposite actually. We, and the rest of the B1G fans, are merely pointing out the State Penn are a bunch of delusional, nutcase, culty drones whose arrogance has no bounds and who have shown little remorse or humility despite the worst cover up of a hideous crime in the history of college sports, all in the name of protecting the precious football program which unfortunately for you knuckle heads is what that school is all about.

Lol. Hope that rant made you feel better! Love it.

You're not even qualified to speak for the rest of the BIG, you're a neophyte. Feel free to speak for RU fans though.

For the record, I don't show remorse for crimes I didn't commit. Where's your remorse for gang of thieves formerly known as RU football players? You'd be an idiot to feel responsibility for their actions. Carry on...

You're a idiot. How can you defend a school that covered up child rape, and allowed the rapist to still walk the streets?

And Patrick or anyone else is well within their rights to criticize a scumbag institution like Pedo State.

Nope sorry. You are never never never allowed to pull the "bad stuff happens at other schools" card out ever again. There was nothing ever like this before and there will never be anything like this again. You really want to compare a few idiots who got in a fight and stole some stuff to your villainous coach, president and football staff covering up the rapes of a known child molester and enabling him to continue by giving him an office on campus?

And screw you on the "you're not qualified" nonsense. I'm qualified because I'm a human and can identify the the stink of State Penn bulls**t.

If this happened at Rutgers they would have unquestionably shut down the program for years--but not state penn--can't possibly go on without football! Riot in the streets!

Those losers were kicked off the team and I believe kicked out of Rutgers as well, and our coach and athletic director were also removed, and our fanbase was probably almost unanimous in their approval of these punishments despite the toll it took on our defense. At Penn State, instead of the criminal being kicked out, the football coach, president, athletic director, and vice president tried to cover up a much more serious crime by lying to a grand jury and continuing to employ him, which enabled him to continue raping children, and your fanbase still worships this head coach. Great comparison.

The RU players were kicked out of school and the coach (who still had a career winning record as HC) was subsequently fired. Did that happen during the 2000's when PSU players were getting arrested? Nope. "Boys will be boys". Players beat up students at a party? Have them clean up the stadium after home games and they can continue playing. After all, you see what happens at other schools?

What cover up?

Who has been convicted of anything other than by the press?

It's been over 4 years and no trial. If it was such a slam dunk, don't you think that the AG would have prosecuted by now for all of the political benefit?

Curley, Shultz and Spanier will never go to trial because the AG has little, or probably no, evidence.

Being in a court room with other witnesses, the attorney on your side getting to question the other sides' witnesses is a lot different that Louis Freeh telling fairy tale to a lap dog press and a POS like Mark Emmert who wanted to look tough on something for a $8.2M payoff.

If it was so sure, why cut short the sanctions; why give back the wins, etc?

Spanier is suing Freeh for defamation.

Freeh's parent law firm just cut him loose. Hmmm - wonder why?

The Paterno family is suing the NCAA.

Those trials will happen.

If it's no issue, quit defending it after 4 years.

There's always going to be people who bring it up. It's major accusations..but the more PSU people defend themselves the longer it goes on..makes it fishy for some people.

I'd just let it go.

Cool. The resident PSU old hag checks in on our board again.

Don't forget the Mural they painted of him

This. This right here is why everyone hates your fan base. If you guys could just admit that Jopa was no saint people would move on. But you can't .....you have to make believe he had no idea that his former right hand man and good friend was a monster.

You define the cult. Did you plug into the hive collective yet today?

How many cases of Joe Pa beer do you have in your fridge?

This idiot nitt claims there would be a political benefit for prosecuting the higher ups.
how fu^kin' stupid is this a$$?
The same fanbase that denies, denies, denies and worships that scum paterno (may he rot in Hell)
is going to reward a prosecutor who strongly pursues bringing it to trial?
This same fanbase went ballistic on their elected Board when it agreed to the penalties and fired paterno
(may he rot in Hell)

lyndj has said on this board that he is a NJ resident and has a child who is an Athlete at Penn State
(some people don't think pedophilia is a big deal)

Now all we need is Howie to come here and give us six pages on how "there were no rapes"
and there is no evidence against Paterno (may he rot in Hell)

It still amazes me that so many can be so morally bankrupt.

I personally know quite a few PSU families that understand crime that took place there and are horrified by it. But with that said- except for a few of you idiots, most current students and families have moved on. That is why I don't have an issue "currently" with the school or players. But those of you that down play it- STFU
And for the record, almost everyone involved in Rutgers are pissed and embarrassed by what some of the players did this past year. But to put either in the same conversation is pathetic.

sorry man I always respect your opinions but it is NOT just a few .

It's actually just a few who think they got off easy. The rest think they were unfairly persecuted, the (rescinded) punishment was too harsh, it had nothing to do with football, and Paterno was not at fault

Oh and thank you everyone for the support [cheers]
Never gets old. The cultists don't complain about Patrick's work because they can't deny their actual clannish tribal behavior. Only certain RU fans and the Star Ledger thinks we need to prostrate ourselves before their retrograde fan base.

Are you talking alumni or people that send their kids to study/play there? Did your alumni friends vote for the alumni members of the board of trustees every seat that is a now held by a denier? That's a lot of votes from just a few outliers as you suggest.
Of course they moved on, that is what a cover up is all about. How about the victims?

Pedd State isn't on the list for possible real penalties. See UNC, and 40 raped boys.

Lol, prosecuted in pa? Congrats, your team and fans will forever be associated as valuing football over protecting children from rape. You must be so proud and defensive.

psu football was built in the backs of young boys and everyone knows it.

Who the hell is "those of you"?? I'm not an alum first of all nor have I ever defended what happened with Sandusky. He committed the crime and he is sitting in a jail cell. The accused administrators still appear to be waiting for their day in court. Whatever happens with that is in the hands of the law. The university still has 45000 students to educate and offer a college life and none of them have anything to do with 2001. You make yourselves look Ike asses when you constantly bring it up because you think you're hurting somebody. There is absolutely nothing you can say that will ever cause me to feel I hold responsibility for the actions of a criminal. EVER. @RUsanity, calling me an old hag doesn't change the fact that you're an immature idiot.

The lame attempt to lump all PSU fans one box is simply pathetic. Grow up.

Yup you're better at football. No argument from us. Congrats.

You also belong to one the most heinous groups of people in the country.

I'd rather be us.

Well then I consider that a coupe for us! You be you and we'll be us! Works for me.

Lolololololololol. Try harder!

I tried reaallllly hard to be cordial to you folks but damn y'all don't make it easy! You would think you learned a thing or two about calling out other schools after your walk of shame in August, but nope, still flinging s**t around. It's all good though, hope you are enjoying life!

Um, my life doesn't revolve around football. You don't know what you're talking about.

Didn't accuse that.

We're having a conversation about horrific crimes that occurred in you locker rooms..but you win games...so it "works for you". Not a good look.

Its not your life its State Penn University and it is, has, and always will be solely about football.

That's what you choose to believe based on your own ignorance. I know differently from experience though. Game over.

And your students invaded homes, robbed people and assaulted them in 2015, 2015, 2015, but it "works" for you.!!definitely not a good look my man!!!
