OT: Prince Has Died

Authorities have confirmed the "ongoing investigation of a death at the Paisley Park estate".
news reports saying someone died at his home in Minneapolis, not saying who though. Do some people not have access to Google? If I read it on twitter it must be true.
TMZ says he's dead. I was actually listening to one of his CD's on the way to work today.

Could be so - the first article I ran into said that Prince's death had been a hoax making the rounds of twitter.

I can't wait for the movie channels to run Purple Rain this weekend in his honor. The nude scenes with Appolonia were the greatest thing this 12 year old ever saw in the 80s.
Just a few days ago I ran across this video (watch from the 3:00 mark) and was once again amazed by his talent

I wasn't a huge fan, but everyone was a fan back in the 80's!
