OSU supports 36 sports programs - the most in the NCAA - only the FB and MBB make money like 99% of other college athletic programs. Plus, they only played 6 home games in 2023 which resulted in less profits and was a drain from the other 34 non-profit making sports.

If this should keep up, look for OSU to start doing away with a few of the sports program with the largest deficits and draining the football profits. Their CF program is huge $$ maker-monster but it has its limits in supporting program with draining deficits

Ohio State sports made a profit the last few years.

Let everyone take a chill pill.

One odd fact in Ohio State’s report.

Ohio State says $52,794,280 in media rights.

Wait a minute. B1G schools are earning $80 to $100 million in media rights, experts say.

"Almost $100 million per year for Rutgers" - KTR moderator
"topping out at over $100 mil" - KTR poster
"Rutgers gets $100 million from the Big 10" - NIL expert

Sumpin’ ain’t adding up.
