BACATOLOGY 3/11: NCAA TOURNAMENT ANALYSIS

The Duquesne center looks like they found playing in an over 40 rec league at the local ymca.

No excuse for or Brown not to figure out a way to get the ball to Lily at end of game for foul shots . Especially after yesterday when they almost blew big lead.

Heartbreaking for Brown Bears 😢

St John's Q1a 1-7 Q1b 3-3 (4-10)Q2a 1-0 (5-10) Q2b 5-2 (10-12)
Seton Hall Q1a 3-6 Q1b 2-2 (5-8) Q2a 2-1 (7-9) Q2b 2-2 (9-11)
Providence Q1a 3-6 Q1b 3-3 (6-9) Q2a 1-2 (7-11) Q2b 2-2 (9-13)

I think Seton Hall will be the 4th Big East, SOR is the highest at 36 too.

They could easily expand the tournament to 72, 4 sets of playin 16 seeds and 4 playin at larges. NIT could be half that, add 4 to 36 and bring back the conference winners of mid and low majors are AQ that don't make March Madness for the NIT or play in games into the NIT.
I hate all the play in games. Why penalize lesser leagues. Just go to 128 and keep the brackets pure.

non conference performance is the dealbreaker....who goes out for them

Ok i am at peace. I have selected my field.

realizing there is going to be at least one surprise and I am okay with that. I am sticking to my principles and not trying to play a guessing game about the committee trying to placate conferences by filling quotas for bids.
Good luck! Forget if I asked you before, but you're submitting to bracket matrix again?

Why? That’s how sports works.
If there are byes, the worst teams have to play more games.
Want to get rid of byes totally? Then go to 128.
Not sure why “penalizing lesser leagues” would be a consideration

(Except for the “at large play in” which defies every possible understanding of how a tournament and seeding works.)

I agree with you except I have A&M over St. John’s. I also agree that Indiana State will make and be a surprise for many.

7 transfers in and no returning starters for VCU. Good coaches make new pieces work.

I think Hall deserves it over us I don't think St John's does. Sorry but the fact they won more q3 games is insanity to me. Also think there is a chance Big East only gets 3
