Jersey City's St. Peter's Prep plays in Dublin on September 2 as a part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic featuring a game between Georgia Tech and Boston College on September 3.
Think Boston College staff does any high school football recruiting that week/weekend?
There are already 3 SPP players on the Boston College roster.
Betcha Rich Hansen and his staff don't spend a nickel of their money on Guinness during their stay.

SPP is paying for Dickenson HS, JC to go over so they can beat them 80-0 again , lol.

SPP should be in a conference w Seton Hall, Delbarton, Immaculat, Bosco, BC, DePaul, and St Joes.
Maybe Pope John , and RBC and St John V to boot. Heck of a conference.

PS- not sure any of the SPP guys had the career that Keith Lumpkin had at RU. Hilliman is good , can do big things.

Brandon Wimbush might be getting itch at ND. Minkah Fitzpatrick , wow ! And David Tolentino was terrific too, handled Rashon Gary in their title game.

Are your interwebz broken?

SPP IS IN a conference with the teams you mention. They play Pope John, Delbarton, BC, PC, Seton Hall and Bosco this season.

Wimbush made a mistake going to ND. There are young players in front of him and unless there are injuries,he may not get playing time. he would probably have been the starter at Penn St.this year. He would have fit in perfectly at RU with the new staff and the spread. another case of what could have been.

They are ? Awesome, somehow I thought that idea got blown up when the NJ Dept of Education over ruled the NJSIAA 's realignment for 2016.

This is the last article I can find on the overturning of the Super Conference, not sure where it stands now.

Was wondering if any other Prep grads will be at the game? Heading out tomorrow night. Should be fun.

FYI, the rivalry was the 2nd longest in the state before the Fryars bailed out, with the series nearly even. And yes, Hansen will not reach into his pocket for a round. BTW, the name is Dickinson.

Prep actually playing a school from Atlanta. I think it is Prep, 3 Atlanta Schools (G.Tech connection I guess) and a FL school.

Both GT and BC sold out their allotments.

The tournament is named for a famous Irish Patriot Connie O'Doyle and the full name is the Connie O'Doyle Aer Lingus Classic, the locals have shortened it to the Connie Lingus Classic. Yes, he was a cunning linguist by trade.[cheers]
