Fowler shoots 67 to get to -12. Sergio was at -10 on 16 and then he birdied 16 and the island green 17, with an amazing 45 foot putt. Sergio on 18 just had a 15-footer to get to -13, but missed it and finishes at -12 to tie Fowler. Martin also just birdied 16 and 17 to get to -12 and Haas and Kisner are also at -11 with 1 or 2 to play. Some incredible shot-making going on - should be a great finish.

I'm watching on my IPad on my deck, have my Bose remote speakers going, while I look at the laptop sipping a Vodka/Collins. Beautiful Sunday, now 4 at -12 !!! . Glad I took care of Mothers Day yesterday and brunch today. Now just have to pack for a biz trip to Chicago tomorrow morning. (Dinner at Gibsons Steakhouse tomorrow night!)

We got a playoff. Kisner just misses after getting a great read from opponent.

Without Tiger in the hunt, it's just not the same. I will catch it later on TGC.

Yeah, really thought Kisner's putt on 18 was good for the win - we're talking a few mm from catching the edge of the cup and dropping in. 3-way tie at -12 and the 3-hole aggregate score playoff is underway at perhaps the best finishing 3 holes of any golf course in the world. 16, 17, and 18 are all amazing holes with so much risk-reward to them, kind of like Amen Corner at the Masters. Rooting mildly for Sergio - don't like Fowler much - wouldn't mind seeing Kisner get his first win, after losing to Furyk in a playoff a couple of weeks ago at the Heritage.

Rickie was -8 over his last ten holes at TPC Sawgrass. One of the best finishes I have ever seen.

Awesome end to tournament. Shot after shot, nobody had any fear, just firing at the pins and making putt after putt.

I have to say that things could be shaping up for the US in Ryder cup play next year. There are a lot of good young American players. Fowler, Spieth, Kisner, Horschel, Reed, Keopka, Martin, etc.

Oh, and Ricki's Mom is a hotti too!

That was an awesome afternoon. Time for some of you to get past Tiger. That was a hell of a finish and it's your loss that you missed it. Tiger couldn't have done it better today.

The Players Champion always parties at the volunteer party that goes on very late. For the sake of the volunteers, I hope Ricky's GF doesn't change before they go down there.

Helluva finish. Gotta give Fowler credit - this win should silence his critics for awhile. And Alexis Randock is smokin'...

Even the top players in the world take a par on 17 and breathe a sigh of relief. Fowler played it 6 times at 5 under. Glad I got off work early enough to see the finish.

I saw a replay of his 2nd shot on 16. It reminded me of Fred Couples 20 or so years ago when he won. Same shot, same result. It takes a BIG pair to try that shot.

Oh my! She was hiding a lot today. For the Seinfeld fans...those are spectacular

I dont think I've ever seen a PGA wife or girlfriend dressed like that for a tournament.

Either way, happy for Ricky. I loved his comment after the win..."I guess that's a pretty big one." One of the most exciting tournaments I can remember watching.

  • Just saw this on Golf Channel.....
Fowler played #17 three times Sunday. His average distance from the pin was 6', all within 1'10" inches of each other.
