OT: The Worst Movie Ever

Every time this subject comes up, I submit the same response and it will never change......Blair Witch Project!!
I give it props since the approach was novel and many were not sure if it was real at first

The Nude Bomb. A Maxwell Smart movie. My friend Vinny and I snuck into the Edison drive in to watch this. Even though we didn’t pay we left before it was over

For me its Metal Storm - The Destruction of Jared Sinn. In 3D no less. so bad that Jared Sinn never even appears in the movie.

Why are they so many negative, worst threads? Why do so many focus on the bad? There just seems to be a lot anger, sadness, and confusion.
Usually it comes from the pretend Rutgers fans on this site who are actually fans of other teams. Some use Rutgers references in their names to try to make themselves look legit. Some are on here everyday and some of the maggots just crawl out after something bad. Areyounuts is certainly not a pretend Rutgers fan.

pair that with Disney investing in the idea and building a section of a park for it... yeah.. this was outright theft by James Cameron... who did the same thing with Titanic. But "worst?" You have to stretch your boundaries.... there are so many possibilities

I realize I'm in the minority on this one based on the last thread on this, but for me it's Necessary Roughness.

Power of the Dog is making a serious run for worst movie ever. I rarely ever turn off a movie, but 30 mins in (yes I actually made it that long) I just had to turn it off. With the pace of that movie the West would still be an ongoing battle.

It's going to win the Oscar for best picture.

1972's "The Doomsday Machine" (a.k.a. Escape From Planet Earth")

How did the Academy Awards miss this opportunity for a "best special effects" award for the destruction of the Earth scene (42:00 - 45:00 minute mark of the movie below)?

I liked Ishtar and Howard the Duck (especially Ishtar, liked Howard because, well Lea Thompson). Also liked Don't Look Up.

Did not like The Power of the Dog even though shot here in NZ.

Avalon was painfully long, but for me, Meet the Parents is the one I hated the most. I cannot stand comedy based on contrived, awkward situations, and that was the whole movie.

WW84! Other than the fact that Gal Gadot is eye candy for you hetero boys literally everything about this disaster is bad…EVERYTHING!

I wouldn't even rate that among the worst superhero movies, although it is pretty bad.

If we're going just on superhero movies, I think these are worse:

Green Lantern
Howard the Duck
Fantastic Four (the newest one)
Daredevil

I have not seen any of those 4, but if they really are worse than the epic shit that is ww84, oh you poor people who sat through them!

Star Wars episode 9. Criminally offensive. People should have been banned from Hollywood for that travesty

How about the following year for this Japanese piece of crap that coined the term "Telemetry of Terror!!!"?
What you see in the trailer is about 90% of Lorne Greene's screen time.
Actually took a date to the Fox Theater on Route 22 to see this.
